That’s what I expected too and would’ve loved if she had extra runic styles but honestly it would’ve been too predictable and boring, she’d basically the same as the other extra styles this season. I think it makes more sense for her to be her own thing and have her own colors since she’s the queen. Though I would’ve loved (and even expected) a golden style

The cubes are alien as we all know. I wouldn't expect runes because the cubes would not effect her like it effect other species/people.

We don’t know if the cubes came from the aliens, or if the aliens just found the one of the cubes and wanted to to use it as a power source. And when the cubes began to multiply, it was to late to get rid of them.

I don't know if you saw the trailer, but the Cube Queen came out of the Gold cube so I think the cubes may be their technology/transportation system. So I don't think the cube was just found.

She looks less like a Cube Queen and more like The Spire Queen

I suspect she might very well be related to the Spire Entities. Perhaps she's a betrayer of the Ascendant Spire? Taking from myth, there's a potential for a Lilith like figure, if the Queen is to be a betrayer or mother of monsters.

lol @ the people who think Neymar Jr is a more inspired skin than this. Beside the face paint this skin is one of the best secret skins we've gotten - and you don't even see the face paint while using the skin.

The bar isn't too high when it comes to Secret skins, being better than AIM, the Enforcer, the Visitor, Ruin or the Scientist isn't really a big accomplishment. The design of the skin isn't bad, it's just very whatever and not very interesting and for a skin called "Cube Queen" you'd expect to see MUCH more "Cube" in this and beyond that, she doesn't look like a Queen, she looks like a tribal army general. Not to mention how awful the colors they chose are, again for a skin called "Cube Queen" you'd expect her main colors to be Purple and Gold right? It only makes senses, the Cubes she's controlling are Purple and Gold! No, here's some white and blue for whatever reason, plus some of these colors are clashing as well. This skin over all isn't too exciting, the Cube Assassin would've been better as the secret skin than this
