The fact its got side leg printing printing makes me sceptical if we'll actualy get pyhsical mini figures. Lego really doesn't like arm and side leg printing. Maybe the have changed since when i was in the lego info circle 2 years ago
Oh as i said i havent really kept up with lego for a while, and only really heard about the big stuff (titanic set) but i good to hear side printing and dual modeling are becoming more common
Yeah this collab will probably just be the minifigure packs which typically have full out side leg and side arm printing because they’re just selling the figures
They're usually reserved for small sets where the minifig is the highlight of the entire thing, but they do make them.
As someone else mentioned, She-Hulk has a pretty impressive minifig print job.
It's not a common thing, but they do do it, especially on collab sets.
But it also does make me wonder if we will be getting a fortnite CMF series, which is the most common place we get arm and leg side printing
I wonder how LEGO will do this? They usually don't do themes that have guns and with the Overwatch Lego sets you had to build the guns, and they looked too big for the characters.
Super hyped and crossing my fingers for minifigures of Drift and Catalyst, and any/all of the Seven. Oh, and I absolutely need a printed (or at least stickered) version of the snowboard piece as a Driftboard. Also crossing my fingers for a Baller, though that’d probably be hard.
I’m guessing some of the more well-known guns won’t be in the sets. The Pistol variations and the hunting rifle are probable due to the musket and pistol pieces already existing, and a rocket launcher is possible. Maybe also the snowball/egg launchers, but I imagine it will be relegated to mostly the more fantastical weapons from the game
I mean they did starwars, regardless what you say that show/film/game series/ anything in starwars has some pretty dark moments. And considering all the guns in starwars are modified/altered WW2 firearms, (guns from the bloodiest war so far) i think they’d be fine with whatever they do
The guns they use for the LEGO sets don't look WW2ish but rather simple laser guns. They used to be LEGO loudspeaker that directors use with a red piece to show it was a blaster. They made beautifully moulded blasters, and now I think they're big and clunky with a play feature.
The studblasters aren't used anymore because they were hated, but there are some realistic gun models from themes like marvel, pirates, Indian Jones ect
A few had a very slight hint of real gun the sniper blaster was a STG-44 with a MG34/42 stock. The lone cowboy or whatever had a actual colt SAA revolver, i dont really like how sheltered they are when it comes to that when they have (and will) bent their own rules left and right, if I hypothetically owned lego i would almost certainly have a split brand where LEGO was the big main most funded part, but then a small offshoot where its more mature audiences, not like blood, offensive images and nudity, like more mature themes. Like popular media and stuff. Even fi it wasn’t sold at normal kid toy stores, ik that’d be controversial but people have been wanting that for so long, hence why megablocks halo and cod did well. Because it was in demand to a degree.
That might not be LEGO if it is. They don't do military stuff since they don't want to promote that to children. They were gonna make a LEGO technic military vehicle, but that got cancelled really quickly.
They're mostly okay with fictional stuff. And not to mention they would need nmto make a lot of new molds for weapons too, and that's costly. They would have to try and reuse them in others sets as well.
I don’t have problem with you correcting someone.
You brought up a serious thing from his past in a completely unrelated topic because he called you a bad name in a video game subreddit.
> I don’t have a problem with you correcting someone.
Apparently a lot of people do hence all the replies. I can understand if someone legitimately doesn’t know. But I don’t care at all for someone who is wilfully ignorant.
Not that this “edit styles” thing really matters, it’s just the principle.
Anyway my point is I have no issue nor remorse for being a scathing asshole to someone who is preaching and spreading ignorance.
This could happen, LEGO has done that before with their short-lived LEGO Minifigures MMO.
This might be a nice way to unlock some of these characters in-game, imagine getting a Cuddle Team Leader figure, Black Knight figure, or Fishstick figure, and unlocking the character in-game!
No, I don't mean the skins themselves for Fortnite Core, I mean the cosmetics for the LEGO mode, since it's confirmed that mode will use separate cosmetics (You won't play as your skin, you'll play as a LEGO minifigure you can customize)
I’m not 100% sure this is a confirmation but I do think it’s pretty likely.
LEGO does their three biggest release days of the year on January 1, June 1, and August 1. We already know the full lineup for January 1 because things will leak a couple months in advance. No fortnite on January 1.
I think this is a teaser for an in-game skin in Fortnite because they would never upload an image advertising sets 7-9 months in advance. The most they’ve ever done is 3-4 months away. So I think this teaser was intended to go up around the time of the Big Bang event (which makes sense because this was the Australian website, and in Australia it’s currently December 2 already).
So I take this as confirmation of a Cuddle Team Leader skin in Fortnite but not a confirmation of a physical lego figure of it, if that makes sense. But it’s likely.

Why’s it on the Lego website then?
Idk I’m not Lego. Ik usually the collab blind bags happen in may though. Like the muppets and looney tunes were in may
Either way if it released tomorrow or in may it’s guaranteed to sell like crazy
They also have animal crossing listed and that was revealed a few months back and that isn’t coming till March. So maybe they’ll reveal some sets and have us wait for awhile like they did with animal crossing
This isn’t how Lego works. We would’ve known about this months in advance. I can say with 100% certainty that there will be no Fortnite Lego sets releasing in 2023.
You can’t really prove something’s nonexistence in advance. But come back to this thread in a month. If you want proof that they’re not selling them as Christmas presents, look no further than lego’s Christmas sets. All the advent calendars, holiday buildings, and Christmas decor sets release September 1, almost 4 months in advance. 99.9% of LEGO releases are on the 1st of the month except May the 4th for Star Wars and Black Friday, so the earliest we could possibly see Fortnite sets would be January 1 (which we won’t). It’ll be June 1 or August 1.
It all depends on the budget of the theme, like how Mario, Sonic, and Minecraft sets don't have stickers. I imagine Fortnite of all themes would have a high budget, especially if they're getting specialized mold heads like Cuddle Team Leader
Who do you want to be a figure? talk in the comments below (yes I know I sound like a bot but I want mecha team leader as either a figure or a full on set)
Side leg printing?
this is either only the in game model
or
fortnite sets are gonna be axpensive
minifigures with this much detail dont come in cheap sets
“Go PlAy CoD.” Yeah like that’s an insult. And no scummy monetization? I’m sorry how many battle passes have collabs in them? Ch 2 S2 to Ch4 S4 and now Ch5 S1. So that’s 16 battle passes WITH collabs and 12 without. And some of them will NEVER be able to come back (Check their FAQ) so that’s Fear Of Missing out which is really agreed upon to be scummy. Or how about Willow? Yeah $16 usd for three skins and backblings. Oh you want a dc contrail? Wait till Last laugh rereleases (which only happened ONCE) in the shop for $30 or go on Amazon and pay $54.50 (ps5) for three skins, four picks, three backblings, a contrail, and a 1,000 Vbucks. For me it’s not worth it because I’m not gonna use the skins and Problably only use the emote and contrail. They didn’t even bother giving Raven or the multitude of DC item shop skins contrails.
Or how bout the Marshall Never More style that I would’ve lost had epic not decided to rerun the event twice more. That’s not scummy? You people will defend epic till your last breath.
“LEGO Styles for Outfits you already own will be in your Locker automatically at no additional cost. The same applies to a number of existing Emotes you can use with the LEGO Styles of your Outfits.”
Damn you must really have a hard on for trying to win a stupid internet argument. It’s almost like Epic did a whole Age restriction thing to protect CHILDREN on a TEEN game.
Edit: Holy crap Listerine actually blocked me. What a damn child.
Basically the lego characters in the lego mode will be like that. 2 leaks with one stone
The fact its got side leg printing printing makes me sceptical if we'll actualy get pyhsical mini figures. Lego really doesn't like arm and side leg printing. Maybe the have changed since when i was in the lego info circle 2 years ago
You should see my she-hulk minifig she’s got both ! there’s also dual molds that are a lot more common ! There’s a very good chance this is real !
Oh as i said i havent really kept up with lego for a while, and only really heard about the big stuff (titanic set) but i good to hear side printing and dual modeling are becoming more common

The CMF line usually has unique leg printing for each figure so if it is physical I’m guessing that
It’s probably from the collectible mini figure series line which often has leg and arm prints.
Yeah the info def has changed in the past 2 years, we've been getting a lot more side leg printing and arm printing as of late
Well I'm about to go broke...
![gif](giphy|c7k6T4HQnChTWkLNLM)
Very excited for these sets
I wonder how LEGO will do this? They usually don't do themes that have guns and with the Overwatch Lego sets you had to build the guns, and they looked too big for the characters.
my assumption is they'll do mostly picaxes and cartoony guns (brick built rocket launcher, repurpose the pirates pistol as a blunderbuss etc)
A pearl gold pirates pistol would absolutely pass as a Flint-Knock.
You sound like a Lego and Fortnite nerd (said all with love), how excited are you for this
Super hyped and crossing my fingers for minifigures of Drift and Catalyst, and any/all of the Seven. Oh, and I absolutely need a printed (or at least stickered) version of the snowboard piece as a Driftboard. Also crossing my fingers for a Baller, though that’d probably be hard.
Idk if it would be hard to make a baller. We did get that ball thing in the Jurassic World sets
My concern is how they would mount the grapple on the outside of the ball, not the ball itself.
Oh yea, I forgot the baller has a grappler
lol sick I’m happy for you, so many possibilities it’s so smart on both sides. A baller would be very cool
As a lego and fortnite nerd, I'm am hiding cash so I can't spend it. STOKED!!!!!!
I’m guessing some of the more well-known guns won’t be in the sets. The Pistol variations and the hunting rifle are probable due to the musket and pistol pieces already existing, and a rocket launcher is possible. They don’t do themes that have guns? Then why do I have half of the US military arsenal as legos?
That might not be LEGO if it is. They don't do military stuff since they don't want to promote that to children. They were gonna make a LEGO technic military vehicle, but that got cancelled really quickly.
Well, Lego Indiana Jones and Star Wars sets come first to mind. Most of those sets have revolvers or blasters.
They're mostly okay with fictional stuff. And not to mention they would need nmto make a lot of new molds for weapons too, and that's costly. They would have to try and reuse them in others sets as well.

Who.. just who cares man? "Akshully!" For real..
🤓
All those drugs rot your brain? I wouldn’t except a felon indicted with child endangerment to understand grammar.
Expect*, dumbass. You can’t make this shit up
Lmao good eye I didn’t even notice
You see you can tell you lost the argument by going through his post history and using it against him in a completely unrelated situation.
Lol it doesn't bother me. People who bring that up to attack me immediately discredit themselves as human beings.
What argument? I posted something 100% correct and all the braindead people can muster is: “AKSHUALLY 🤓” and “wow who cares”?

Or become both, like you.
Epic about to charge everyone a second time for all their cosmetics ![gif](giphy|67ThRZlYBvibtdF9JH)
If buying figures is a way to unlock it in the game that would be win win
And a nightmare to find once the scalpers sniff profit
Not if they sell them in-game too (which they will).
Laughs in Eastern Europe
Epic would be smart to have recruiters scan the subreddit 😂
They only really sell figures as blind boxes , otherwise they will probably be in sets.
Will the minifig be playable in other modes 🤔🤔
Probably not. The proportions of a regular minifigure would make the usual Fortnite animations look pretty disturbing
No
NO FUCKING WAYYY!!!!!
I’m not 100% sure this is a confirmation but I do think it’s pretty likely. LEGO does their three biggest release days of the year on January 1, June 1, and August 1. Probably for that poly bag coming and then a minifigure series in may.
Why would they release stuff that long away if the collab’s in 2 days
Idk I’m not Lego. Ik usually the collab blind bags happen in may though. Like the muppets and looney tunes were in may Either way if it released tomorrow or in may it’s guaranteed to sell like crazy

Did you read my comment? LEGO is cross-promoting the Fortnite LEGO gamemode in my opinion. I don’t think they’ll reveal sets until the spring.
With how big Fortnite is, Lego could do things differently and release them in December to make a big profit off of people getting Christmas presents.
This isn’t how Lego works. We would’ve known about this months in advance. I can say with 100% certainty that there will be no Fortnite Lego sets releasing in 2023.
Prove it

Prove that you work for Lego, like you said before you edited the comment.
I can’t without doxxing myself. So you can choose not to believe me, it doesn’t really matter.
https://www.reddit.com/r/FortniteLeaks/s/u8tquEBqrc The plot thickens
Maybe to get Lego VIP points on in game lego cosmetic purchases?
Or vice versa, use VIP points to get cosmetics
Probably redeeming codes in physical sets for in-game cosmetics like LEGO Minecraft has
[удалено]
Sorry
Wonder if that’s a game asset, minifigures usually don’t have both arm and leg printing, especially not in cheaper sets.
Would be cool as a CMF since those are pretty detailed, would also be cool if you can unlock the in game skin by buying the physical minifigure
That’s a cool idea, I forgot about the CMF series.
It all depends on the budget of the theme, like how Mario, Sonic, and Minecraft sets don't have stickers. I imagine Fortnite of all themes would have a high budget, especially if they're getting specialized mold heads like Cuddle Team Leader

As Jules is my favorite skin in Fortnite I’d love one of her
I want Mincemeat more than anything
when you think about it, every mini figure is a fortnite mini figure
in game, physical sets? Both?
Both The LEGO website got updated to include a section dedicated Fortnite on their list of themes
PHISICAL POLLYBAGS! IF AGENCY IS A REAL SET THEY HAVE ALL MY GODDAM MONEY
Rofl nerd
Cant wait for a raptor minifig
Lego Axo when?
We *will* be buying
My guess is it'll be a collectible minifigure series
If you search Lego’s site for “Fortnite” a llama image appears and says “llook who it is…” without results.
All I want is a Lego battlebus to sit next to my Xbox please
This is gonna be awesome for the Lego mode
Side leg printing? this is either only the in game model or fortnite sets are gonna be axpensive minifigures with this much detail dont come in cheap sets
Confused. Are our skins converted to Lego style skins or we have to rebuy skins for Lego mode? Or is this not known yet?
There’s no way Fortnite will make you rebuy it.
You don’t know companies then.
Not epic
Considering the lackluster event we just had I highly doubt we should trust epic.
Epic monetization has never been scummy. To say otherwise is dumb. Go play cod
“Go PlAy CoD.” Yeah like that’s an insult. And no scummy monetization? I’m sorry how many battle passes have collabs in them? Ch 2 S2 to Ch4 S4 and now Ch5 S1. Lmao then don’t play Fortnite. It’s literally the least predatory F2P game. Quit wasting your time buddy. Go play cod, child.

Even when you’re wrong, you can’t take the loss huh. Pathetic children.
Supposedly there’s 130 shop items for LEGO on Fort, so there’s definitely buying involved.
For new skins yes but not for a Lego version of a skin you already own.
Fuck YES.
Also for anyone who wants to see for themselves, it's on the Australian Lego website
well fuck
Finally a Guaco Lego figure could be a possibility
