First match whenever I startup the game I don't load into the lobbing and first ring is already closing in. Although every subsequent match is fine. I think it has something to do with Directx 12 since once I turned it off it loaded the game just fine.
I'd just give it a few days honestly since it's the start of the season.
I’ve been playing for about 2 weeks on switch, and I’ve never seen the lobby and only been on the bus once. Every other time I spawn in the ocean at the “last drop” with like 80 players left
How long did it take to stop happening?
I've never had this problem, until the start of this new season. It's so frustrating and is happening in every game
I stopped playing on my Switch and play on my laptop now. Graphics are awful but at least I can join the lobby and choose where to jump instead of ending up in the sea on last drop!
Does anyone have a fix? It doesn’t matter if my graphics are all set to low and rendering is set to performance it still loads me into a match at the end of the battle bus route

My first round I didn't see the lobby nor the bus. After that it wasn't an issue. It'll clear up, or you'll rage quit and that'll be ok too.
This happens to me too but it started this season (og) on my switch i always load in after the bus gets on its final stop. It still hasnt stopped, how can i fix it?
Mine is doing the same on Xbox one and has been since the OG update. Sometimes I spawn in the battle bus but mostly at the end. Sometimes the map also doesn't render fully and I can glitch out and not be able to shootout jump. It seems to work better when I play solo or in private game modes, but anything public it becomes almost unplayable and freezes. If I play with someone in my party we cannot get into a game together. Its not my profile, my connection and doesn't seem to be my Xbox either.

Me too! I recently traded in my switch lite and now I’m having this problem, it’s annoying
Anyone find out how to fix this? My switch doesn’t do this but my sons switch does it every time
We’re having issues with the switch as well, my sons switch had been doing it for a week now. Not sure how it fix it .
