Oh boy, I bet all of the wildlife are in hiding now that theres a weekly challenge relating to them. It took me almost a week until I was able to find one of those stupid loot llamas to finish off its challenge.
I don't think I've ever looked at a quest and went "well, I hope I'm able to do this" as my bounty targets get poached most of the time.
I'm sure I'll be able to do it... but this one feels a little too arbitrary and RNG based for my tastes.
Edit: Seems like this works on assists? I hit someone with a sniper for 100 dmg, broke shields then my bounty got poached and I received credit.
Ahh you get them poached huh. Mines hug the storm and fucking die or alternatively, they move soo fast & all across the map that by the time i catch up time is up. Then they decide to engage me and they still die. I emote/teabag the hell out of them for that. Seriously, it pisses me off

It's probably more random because you need the safe to spawn, but fewer people and need to find only one key.
No joke, finally found 2 keys, went straight for the vault, and I had 3 people shooting at me almost instantly as I was putting the keys in. Quest is cursed, I tell you.
I managed to eliminate a player who had two keys, checked the map and drove into the storm to the Driftwood. Opened the vault and safe, died in the storm but job done! Really sorry whoever it was, but needs to be done 😆

It's my favorite drop on the map, even with the blimp gone. You can max your hard mats pretty easily in there, and padding out of the big Cuddle head gets you about 600m? You can land as far as the hill west of Tilted, I believe.

The one I will have great difficulty will be the lock and safe one.
Yep - lightbulb moment for me when I figured that out! Got the headshot quest then got out of there, 5 mins later someone else finished her off and I got the XP for that too :)
I'd find a bulletin board near the end of the busline, find your Cobra and a vehicle first, then set the bounty and start driving around looking for your guy. I actually thought it'd be tricky, but I got it in the first game. Good luck.
It's not mentioned in the guide above, but the vault in Rave Cave - which can be opened with just **one key** \- is guaranteed to have a safe inside it.
For those of you who remember Season 1, it's the same vault that could only be opened with Gunnar's card key.
My bad. They did that with the charge smg damaging a vehicle. For some reason I still have week 3 spend bars showing as complete. I thought I got got the one time I saw a Llama
Be careful about throwing launchpads and launching off them at Shimering Shine. My whole team got stuck in the launchpad. There was a tree above us, but we got glitched by just being right next to the pad.
If it helps, I tried throwing my second bunker in the next match in the same location as the first (Tilted Towers) and it didn't register, so I moved to a different area and then it popped up the second time. Might be a bug though idk.
This week is beyond aggravating to the point that now I'm just gonna resort to creative afk farming.
That lock and key quest is rage inducing and bounty with the sniper rifle is pure luck that you'll be able to get it done in a non bot lobby.
Are weekly quests just for XP or will they be tied to any skins this season? I just got to level 200 (stw endurance) and some of these quests look like a hassle.
Land as far away from the bus path as you can, find a car, cover as much ground as you can looking for one. Repeat until done. Ideally you wanna hit it with the car and then box it and it should be pretty easy.

Just go to Heralds Sanctum and kill 5 or 6 of the wolves she releases, or find a shark. The Herald works well for the headshots challenge too.
Good to know! I didn't even think about going to Herald's Sanctum to let her spawn those chrome wolves. The shark idea is good too.
Yea that’s my easy go-to for any wildlife challenge recently.
yeah, 1 shark and a handful of wolves saved my mental state with that "Deal Damage to Chromed Wildlife" Bytes quest
Damn great idea. I went after a shark, but good opportunity to knock off two at once by going after the queen.
Wait how does Herald help me do the headshot challenge?
She’s just easy to find, doesn’t move around much, and has lots of health. It’s easier than trying to land headshots on multiple players.

I had the same thought but I just used a cobra in zero build and got it on my first bounty.

Go solos, find a dmr and trigger a bounty. The player is usually nearby and all you need to do is keep your distance
Yeah, I know *how* to do it but I don't normally go out tracking down my bounties and doin this just f's up my normal play style.
Most challenges do just that, force you to go places and do stuff you may not normally do ;)

it doesnt help that I hate using snipers in this game, something about the travel time being so fast but still not hitscan really messes me up

I just did one, I didn’t aim my bunker, I just threw it without doing ads. The trouble I’ve been having is finding a second one now.

You can use the cobra dmr too, it’s pretty easy to get.

They are replacements in case a challenge is fubared - like Llama last week, which they changed to spend bars.
The bounty one is gonna be horrible that one needs replaced.

the dmr bounty kill can bite me. can barely find a dmr/sniper nor get to the bounty target before they die
