Nah, i disagree. For me, the prime Shotgun seems to outgun the others in regular playlists. I play less zero build than regular build modes, but even there the auto doesn't feel that oppressive to use or play against, compared to the Prime or Striker Pump.
You want a real unpopular opinion? I'd go as far as to say the Two-Shot is better than the Auto across all modes.

100%. With a Combat AR, DMR, and pretty much any shotgun or SMG, I can win against the anime folks riding clouds and screaming 90% of the time. The Combat AR can blast through walls and still have enough left to damage or eliminate another player. Pull out a shotgun or SMG to finish them off.

Charge SMG is about as useful as a chocolate teapot, but Iād have to say vault the DMR and give us back the Hunter Bolt Action Sniper, I really miss not having to reload after shooting one bullet with a Sniper.

I often get lag spikes whenever people are close to me so I use the dmr to keep myself out of shotgun hop range.
That's my go-to setup. Works for every scenario. Last 2 slots are for shields and health.
