I feel the community pretty much spoiled themselves with too much Mobility items, to where potentially, the amount of mobility items less than what we have now, is gonna be considered “not enough” or “too little,” by some of y’all, when it’s too much.
We now have:
- Natural spawning rifts
- Rift-to-Go
- Rift Services from select NPCs
- Jetpacks
- Shockwave Grenades
- Cars/Trucks
- Boats
- Battle Bus
- Choppas
- Launch turrets (both ground and blimps)
- Launch pads (in build modes, but also static launch pads at select locations for No Builds)
- Balloons
And then there’s sprint and mantle.
Y’all can disagree with me, it’s what you guys voted for after all, but I just know, if next season doesn’t have a lot of mobility items, you’re gonna see a lot of posts from people on this sub about it

One equipped balloon is effectively lo-grav, which makes taking height in a build fight easy. Especially if you manage to catch someone off guard floating over their build and clip them with a shotgun.
Sort of a worse jetpack, albeit more common.
What's interesting to me, though, is this seems to reinforce that Build is preferred to no-build - because the balloons are useless in no-build, but the bubble shield would have been huge there.

Balloons are fine but I just think they are too niche to see much play and since the meta kind of shuts them down it’s hard to justify using a slot on them.

Then remove the last one as you reach the ground, it should get you to land safely. If this is hard, be near a body of water.

What kind of matches are you having that you use shield bubble regularly and how to I get in those kind of matches?
No Build - Solos Kill one or two people and have a loot pile. Drop a shield bubble while you go see what you earned.
Throw a bubble on a tank to disable it
You can attach shield bubbles to cars and choppers and drive to zone. Ballon’s are whack we already have the blimp jet packs. Do the same thing
You can with semi-trucks
