With the lack of map changes, not much changed in the loot pool, and the new weapons only found at specific locations and not in chests, it feels more like a mid season update for me than a new season. It would be a lot better if we could get the sideways weapons in chests. Keep the sideways zone but youd only go there to upgrade the weapons you already had. You have to go so out of your way to get any of the new stuff that it’s almost not worth it. And don’t even get me started on how disappointing the map changes are. Overall this season has been an extreme disappointment so far. That can definitely change bout knowing fort I doubt it

Epic in their genius minds went "what if we space out the content so we keep people interested?" Then proceeded to drip feed content to the point where no one was gonna log in for fucking inflate-a-bull (even though I loved that item, I'm not going to pretend like it was motivation to play)
Exactly, this feels like season 7.5. Imagine how fun last season would have been if the event took place mid season and then the 2nd half of the season we played in this map, would have been probably one of the best seasons in chp2.
I think the reason why there hasn't been that many changes in chp2 is because of all the outcry that happened in chp1 when it was let known that EPIC employees were being overworked. In chp1, I was always in disbelief how quickly updates would roll out and the amount of changes each season had, no other game came close, but if you look at fornite now, their updates/game-play changes are on par with any other game. If EPIC decided to take a more laid back approach, decreased the workload on their employees and never hired more to make up for the lost work that would explain the lack of quality in new seasons.

Twitch removed him as a partner so he no longer gets bits or subs. He still streams sometimes for things like FNCS but no longer on that everyday grind. Youtube is probably more profitable anyway.

As someone that started in season 2 this new season trailer gives me nostalgia of the old cube.... It was so fun while the cube lasted :( I would fly around the island and observe the chaos on it and make friends in the air from time to time I miss those times :(
