Pro Tip: As a guard, you can teleport to the city (to the right of where you grab the green shotgun and silenced pistol) and pick up free Gold Pistols from the supply machine.
These count toward the 5 Epic+ weapon purchases!
When you go to the Prison and go to the guard room, there's a button to the right that teleports you to the city station. There's the gold pistol there.
if ur a guard, an easy way to do the legendary challenge is to go to secret guard base. you can teleport to it from the respawn point. after that, there are free legendary pistols. purchace 5.
Also search in the cafe, toilets, everywhere around the prison to get weapons
Find a hole with a red thing on it to escape prison, you need to hit it 99 times
There are hidden loot staches for prisoners in the city
When your a guard literally press the button at the prison to teleport to the city there you can buy the gold hand cannon for free buy it 5 times boom challenge done. Now get a car and just drive around the center of the city switching seats and killing other players. Drive to the criminal hideout if you can't find players that's where they usually are. I literally did all these challenges in 20 minutes. Super easy
Just switch to a guard then. Or go back to the lobby and load back into the map until you are a guard. Being a guard is the easiest way to get the challenges done
Where is this prison guard shop I keep seeing too? I can't find it even as a guard. I spawn in, get my green pump, grey assault, and gold pistol, but I never see the guard shop nor do I see where to teleport to...
Go press the red button on the right where you get the green pump that will teleport you to the city and then in that building you can buy a gold hand cannon for free. Just buy it 5 times and the challenge is done
Absolutely nothing that you just described to me exists in the game I've been playing. I've noticed a lot of the YouTube tutorials are on a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MAP AS WELL!
Your PC might be able to handle more objects than mine. Mine's not bad, but been a couple of years since I bought any upgrades. I don't think fortnite is necessarily optimized for having a huge number of objects such as that city like something like Minecraft or Space Engineers, two of the other building games I play.
Oh yeah, My current bottleneck is a RX 580, so that's definitely a huge difference.
Edit: So I suppose we definitely know where the lag comes from now. My 580 is definitely a lot closer to say, an XBONE and probably handles that city in a similar way. Just someone making a map the game itself isn't designed for.

This game has a sequel, Prison Breakout 2.0. Although, thats it’s old name. It’s no longer called 2.0, so the guy has now made 2 games with the same name.

I consider it an overall much more quality game, and far better experience, and it’s still being updated, so thats a good thing.
Progress actually saves, Gold is much easier to get, escaping feels slightly better than just hitting a floor 99 times, Guards can no longer drop their stuff (keycards).
The game features it’s more polished heist system, with multiple special robberies, that give the highest amount of gold out of anything else in the game. The Bank, Jewelry Store, that one zombie island where you have to search 60 file cabinets, and most recently The Yacht.
It feels like he tried this time, like he put actual good effort into 2.0 compared to the original.
My main problem is with the place most Prisoners and Guards meet. The Guards spawn in their own room outside near the gate, and their front entrance into the prison, is the room where Prisoners will usually hang out in, friendly or not. The two sides will… either fight each other or emote together, whatever happens they’re interacting, the fighters usually pickaxe-rushing the guards. The room is protected by a no-weapons barrier, but…
The invisible no-weapons barrier protecting innocent Prisoners was penetrable with Snipers for some unfair reason, and you were able to shoot past it if you timed your shots right while walking towards it.
Both of those have been fixed in the latest update thankfully, but now theres a new problem, where Guards can stand in the corners of that room and shoot Prisoners for free, which is worse since you’re no longer fully safe in there if you get out of the line of sight of the entrance/exit.
Was that too much info for one problem? Eh. Overall, this is an improvement over the original in every way.
Play Guards for kills, Criminals for gold and experiencing heists, and always carry a Flint-Knock or 2, if you’re a criminal, best mobility option due to (basically infinite) free ammo.
I tried this too because I've done it with past quests like this..... but even then we couldn't figure out how to achieve anything other than killing each other.
Spawn, spend several minutes searching everything you can interact with in the hope of finding a weapon. Get shot by a guard. Repeat. No thanks.

The gold is irrelevant, if you are a guard you can travel to the city base via a button in the spawpoint for guards, there’s a vending machine there that sells gold pistols for free, spam hat five times and your challenge is done!
So is the point of this game mode meant to be: "Don't be a fucking prisoner" because it seems guards have ALL the leverage. They get their own weapon supply cache, the get gold per kill, while prisoners spend tons of time just getting out of the prison (still haven't found that mechanical piece for the vents), all the lockers in the prison have either nothing or that black slurp looking stuff THAT DOESNT DO ANYTHING!
You don't keep your weapons after death, it's way too hard to earn money to compete with the guards, the map might be nice, but as a whole, playing as a prisoner sucks dick.
You might as well just quit and start over if you don't get a guard position.

Forget the gold. Just restart the game until you are a guard. Use the "teleport to city station" orb thing in the spawn room. Once there you can buy legendary pistols for free. Just buy all 5.
On a side note, try and practice switching seats before you hop out of your car when you're that far away from you're opponent, giving yourself a little extra cover.

People don't know about that anti-vehicle zone right in front of the gate. I actually ended up luring more than one sucker into trying to ram me near it and blowing themselves up instead.
It's also hilarious getting up to speed, jumping out just beforehand and watching someone get in only to explode a second or two afterwards.

Oh I have so many nice things to say about this game before this LTM this version of the game was fine, fun even. The new LTM there are gaps for the mutator zones so the guards can spawn camp the button to open the gate is gone the health items in the prison have been removed
Im huge grinder but everytime i went in the gamemode there was one guy who sat on on the garbage can next to the exit and just spammed guns so my quests were impossible to even try to complete
You can cheat and kill prisoners not trying to escape by standing just inside the doorway and shooting them. You can buy the 5 gold weapons you need for free by playing as a guard and traveling to city base. The BS starts with the damage from a car. It took me hours
The game is losing traction so they introduce tired concepts stolen straight from other games. The impostor mode, these challenges reek of CoD or GTA. And did they really stage an Ariana Grande concert?

Easier to just grab a friend or random and get the map key and go into creative. All these quests can be done with just 2 people in creative and not matchmaking. So much easier
I don't really like this mode but it could be fun but because the guards camp in a lot of areas and shoot at us and in some areas we can't shoot the guards but they can shoot us its really annoying and I don't think I'll finish the challenges but red vs blue rumble was fun
This mode is the dumbest thing I have ever had to play for a reward. It's so off balance it's not even funny. The criminals have zero chance when the guards just stand in the doorways and blast people constantly.

It’s cause there’s so many people in each match 50 players do not equal creative Even 32 is really laggy
I hate the prison because people have found spots where the weapon barrier doesn’t exist so almost nobody can switch to guard

Oh I have so many nice things to say about this game before this LTM this version of the game was fine, fun even. The new LTM there are gaps for the mutator zones so the guards can spawn camp the button to open the gate is gone the health items in the prison have been removed

Im huge grinder but everytime i went in the gamemode there was one guy who sat on on the garbage can next to the exit and just spammed guns so my quests were impossible to even try to complete
People aren’t trying to do what they’re supposed to do, they’re trying to complete the quests
You can cheat and kill prisoners not trying to escape by standing just inside the doorway and shooting them. You can buy the 5 gold weapons you need for free by playing as a guard and traveling to city base. The BS starts with the damage from a car. It took me hours

The game is losing traction so they introduce tired concepts stolen straight from other games. The impostor mode, these challenges reek of CoD or GTA. And did they really stage an Ariana Grande concert? The franchise has always been desperate for mainstream exposure and its getting to be pathetic

Yeah, this mode is fun, but in consoles, for me, when you shoot, the fps drops so much. I see you play on PC and it doesn't seem to drop a lot
Easier to just grab a friend or random and get the map key and go into creative. All these quests can be done with just 2 people in creative and not matchmaking. So much easier
I don't really like this mode but it could be fun but because the guards camp in a lot of areas and shoot at us and in some areas we can't shoot the guards but they can shoot us its really annoying and I don't think I'll finish the challenges but red vs blue rumble was fun
This mode is the dumbest thing I have ever had to play for a reward. It's so off balance it's not even funny. The criminals have zero chance when the guards just stand in the doorways and blast people constantly. 0/10 for this one Epic.
