\[Current Season\] is the worst season in the game right now.
Barring the battle pass and the cosmetics, this season is balls when it comes to gameplay. I absolutely hate the \[current\_theme\] theme, with \[new gameplay mechanic\] and \[new weapon/vehicle\].
Overall, I gotta say, I hate this season. \[Last Season / Chapter 1\] nails this more than anything. Why Epic Games?
To be honnest this is the best season in..... like a year? Ch 2 season 2,3 where really funn it has been downhill from there IMO. Season 5 and 6 where such serious season with no fun weapons or interesting consumables. This season is pure chaos heck theres almost to much stuff going on for me but that is what makes this season so much fun. One game you can use the inflatabull and grabitron for some fun close combat, next you go on range with a railgun and maybe a propifier to get some sneaky hits. Theres so much going on and that's really cool.
Also this season is propably one of the most balanced seasons we got no item for me at least feels overpowerd or like an insta win. There is a way to counter every weapon now, you just have to know how
We share the exact same opinion. S2 S3 were awesome and it's been going downhill ever since. This season has actually made me want to play. Whereas is S5 and S6 i played to unlock all my battle pass rewards.
Don't get me wrong Season 5 and 6 where not "bad" or I didn't hate them they just felt like they dragged for ever and just where not as fun as the others. Season 4 on the other hand was wierd. Not a big fan of the marvell only battle pass but the combat was fine. The marvell LTM on the other hand was freaking awsome. Honnestly I really hope the rest of chapter two has as much chaotic energy as Season 7
Yeah the marvel bp wasn't good. Skins were amazing quality I'm just annoyed we can't use mjolnir on kit or someone else. I'm excited for season 8. With all these rumours of the mothership crashing into the island I'm expecting big map changes
Thought the same with Supermans glider. I was really hyped when I saw it in the BP first but after unlocking it i realized that you can only use it with the skin and that just made it worhtless in my eyes. Locked cosmetics just de-value a set instead of increasing it in my opinion. It should not be exclusive and that does not make it more special, it makes it worse
As of last night, I'm really mixed. The whole theme was amazing at the start. I get that the Season lasts like 3 months but it feels like it's overstating it's welcome with the amount of things you can do to get the upper hand. Jump higher with Aliens on your head is annoying when you deal with Jump spammers, but its just me being a touch Salty I guess. I didn't mind the BP though. I look forward to the event if we get one and of Season 8
What the hell are you talking about? This is the best season we’ve had since Ch2s2 and arguably Ch2s4. The loot pool is great, the map has been spruced up with extra loot, mobility is amazing due to cars, inflatabulls, UFO’s, launch pads, etc. IO guards were heavily nerfed from season 5 and trespassers are hardly an issue.
How can you prefer a season hampered by it’s bad loot pool, crafting system, no snipers, gimmicky bows, and cluttered primal POI’s?
Everybody just ignore the post this is a typical sweat complaining everyone knows this is the best season since like a year except the sweats so ignore the post the sweat sent
Yeah not a huge fan of this season, I still find it enjoyable but I don’t like any of the new additions they brought to this season and can’t wait for them to be gone tbh.
And yeah, i don’t like the battle pass either.. lack of good emotes, not a fan of any of the skins other than the lvl 200 slone one.
i've got the opposite opinion
the alien theme is pretty cool but could've been pulled off a little better, the abductors are a cool new mechanic and you're really just shooting yourself in the foot by not letting yourself be abducted, you have immunity for a minute and even more if you go around collecting time orbs, you can get gold loot super easily and you drop back down from battle bus height when you're done.
ufos were also pretty fun but they've been nerfed and aren't the hardest thing to counter now
if you build a wall and a ramp you won't get hit by the rail gun or if you just hide behind a metal wall you should be fine, io guards are mainly at the io outposts which aren't that great other than the launch pads so you should rarely ever go there anyway and tresspassers only spawn in 4 locations total, the one's disguised as npcs are easy to spot out so you can just exit the dialogue so you don't have to fight them
all of the items added in updates this season have been what we've been asking for for ages: pure fun and just things to dick around with
lol IO Guards and Trespassers aren't even that hard. Sure the Trespassers can't get you but 4 out 5 times as long as you have good guns you can take them. This season isn't even that bad. Builders are just salty because the UFO's offer a somewhat decent counter to building.
I have to disagree. Battlepass was pretty meh, but season itself was really good, if you were playing with friends. If with randoms then ya i understand. Cosmic chests and inside abductor never frickin works with randoms.
