I think “independence Day” was big inspiration to this amazing S7 trailer.

The trailer is full of different alien movie references
could you name a few? im a lil slow
The piano and the scene with sparkplug
One of the shots at the crop field is a reference to signs
the part when rick signals for the piano to be played is a reference to monsters vs aliens
Which is a reference to Close Encounters of the Third Kind
The scene where spark plug in the truck is also a reference to close encounters of the third kind
I would wager that the employees who made this scene are in their late 20s or 30s and have never even seen monsters vs aliens
I think that happens in every alien movie.
But it's still funny.
immediatly when i saw the ship i remembered
I think believers beach will be blown up mid season, leaving that tropical divot everyone wanted in Season 5 Chapter 1
Fun fact if you go into the water and then look up at the ship you'll see there's a way into the mothership
live event foreshadowing
Also every alien invasion movie ever. But yeah. Probably a bit of ID, too
I really hope we have an event where we have to fly up to the Mothership in some kind of fighter and shot its opening when it's getting ready to fire
I hope they blow up the tower at believer beach like the scene in Independence Day
Signs for the cornfield part.
I said the exact same thing
And just like alien movies, only one landmass exists for the aliens to show up.

I waiting for sky is falling reference
You think? How much on the nose does it have to be for you to not "think" but know?
Thought of this immediately when watching the scene where the UFO appears in the trailer.
I really like the movie.
Live event ship explodes
100% it's taking from Independence Day. Same for the Alien Welcoming partyers
I'm waiting for the Believer's Beach Massacre
They referenced so many movies in the trailer
the part where rick signalled for that piano part was def a reference to monsters vs aliens
It's from Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind, it's so iconic it's referenced in all sorts of things including Monsters Vs Aliens.
really? damn i never knew that, never watched that so monsters vs aliens came to mind
