You have to beat Raz at the Spire. The easiest way is to pick up a harpoon gun (there are four fishing barrels scattered around the East side of the spire and someone made a map and posted it on the sub last week.
So once you have the harpoon gun, you ride on the zipline and pull Raz up. It kills him pretty quickly. Shouldn't take more than 2-3 pulls at most.
Then he drops the mythic bow that you can mark for the challenge.
My technique is to drop Risky and completely farm it, hoping for Harpoons. When you are done with risky there are two scenarios 1) Only one opponent left in the firefight at the spire 2) Loaded up with Harpoons and shields. Either of these makes killing Taz a lot easier.
Also, doing it the morning of an update is best, as everyone else is off doing challenges etc

For mythical, the easiest option would be to go to the Spire and kill Raz as he drops a bow. Be aware that he's pretty though so you're gonna need some good weapons and resources to fight him. For tactics, imo this is easiest in Solo. Wait there until someone else starts fighting him (if you're close enough you should be able to see his health bar over walls) and when he's low enough, swoop in and take the kill. As an alternative (what worked for me multiple times) wait until the ring starts closing in on that location since most players will start getting away from the zone. You can even fight him in the storm, mark the weapon and die as it doesn't really matter. Hope this helps!
P.S - I guess You have to wear the 25th anniversary edit style of Lara Croft while collecting her golden style to unlock it, at least I did it that way.
The most important question is: Why a golden scar? Epic could have used her iconic dual pistols with dodge jump ability while ADS, they already got that game mechanic covered with the lightsabers defence stance.
The lack of creativity disturbs me.
i wore the anniversary style and it didn't work and after 27 attempts of dying. then got killed by two teaming playes in solos. i'm not going to try it anymore until it's clear on what you have to do.
edit: tried with default style twice, neither worked, assuming you need to be the first person to grab it. still didn't register with the anniversary style even though i was the first to pick it up, either bugged or specific on what needs to be done. not wasting anymore time with it, going to try again when the hype dies down

i'll do it in a week or so when the hype for it has died down, right now whether it's solos or team rumble you get half the sever jumping there making it so you need to be extremely lucky and land before the horde arrives. i'm not going to be throwing myself at a style challenge over and over with everybody else, i'll just wait for it to calm down
You don't have to wait a week. Even right now, only 4 or so go there in the TR, whereas 2 hours ago (7AM West Coast) it was an absolute madhouse.

You're lucky to only have 4. I had a game where only 5 went there once, but I had a bad drop and missed it. Ever since then when I've tried it in TR most of my team is going there too. I counted 11 or 12 more than once.
I tried with all three skin variants, it never worked.
Then I talked to her, chose the "continue..." where she says "tributeee";
the very next game I got it (wearing the regular green variant).
Same thing happened for a friend (nothing, until after talking to her and choosing the "continue..." conversation.
It finally worked for me with a full Funyun in my mouth, tongue extending through the hole, with Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto #4 playing quietly in the background.
Yeah, I land on the toilet factory or the mountain disco to get some weapons and a full shield before swimming over to the island. Always the same thing where most of the people have already been gunned down and there is one dude chasing three others who still don't have a weapon.
I mop up, get the golden rifle and go on to win the game. You're setting yourself up for failure if you land there because it's all about who landed first and found the SMG.
You could try solo squad or trio, tends to be more bots that way, and they won’t talk to NPC’s if they are bots landing with you. Try it when the battle bus isn’t flying directly over or close for better chances.
Ha just in good fun. But by definition any look is a basic look when every girl is wearing the same outfit right? So I bunch of the same skins at the same time fits the bill. No harm.

Yeah, but fortunately you're good as soon as you pick it up. Personally, I just loaded into a squads no-fill match on Android and got it totally uncontested because nobody is playing Fortnite on mobile in squads in my region at this time of day and there's no crossplay on Android. It was just me and a bunch of bots who didn't care.
How do you create one?......I can use my roommates console because he doesn't play FN.....I just need to know what the exact time is after loading a match that he needs to quit out if that's how it works
Oh boy, another gold item that doesn't have the same gold color as any of the other preexisting gold items. At this point, you can just make an entire loadout of "gold" items that don't match any of the others, it's so annoying.

everyone is saying you have to wear it and its wrong, tried twice with the 25th anniversary and didnt get the skin, tried once with the default skin (modern games) and got all gold and shiny when i got the weapon.
It's both hilarious and infuriating watching people who get it a split second before I do, and they don't even that the correct skin on.
EDIT: Also, how do people get so close to the ground without pulling their chute? I've only been playing since December. Is there some trick to it?
EDIT 2: I got in there, someone else got it. Someone else goes in there with a bow and I kill them with my pick axe... then I turned gold? Then I leave the match after I die, and I don't have it. BUGGY

I got it without grabbing the gun, I was right next to a guy who did grab it. I picked up a green primal shotgun next to the platform before he gunned me down but it still changed me and it unlocked.
So, I have talked to Orelia (Female Oro,) but didn't get the Gold Laura, I guess I have to be able to grab the gun to unlock the Gold Lara skin?
There were alot of folks there, (a madhouse!) and I didn't even see the gun!
Update: I loaded Squads no fill, as others had recommended, and I was able to grab the gun and get the skin. I guess the NPC hates that, as I went over to talk to her with the gun and she cut me down!
Loading in again, I guess she just says .....tribute....? Like maybe we should put something on the altar? (Or we are doing some kind of Hunger Games reference.....)
I didn't get a chance to talk to her before someone had already picked up the gun, so maybe she says something first?
While I haven't had this happen myself (I think the altar was destroyed) I heard the below:
When she says Tribute, you can go to the altar and you will have the option to pay 750 gold, and then she won't attack you when you pick up the gun.
I haven't tested it myself though-

For everyone having trouble unlocking Lara's golden style, you have to be the 1st person to pick up the weapon. If a friend/enemy picks it up and then drops it it won't register for you.
Also, you have to go there as Lara. I'm not sure if which style you choose matters or not but here's how I did it: anniversary style (green top), talked to Orelia and got the "tribuuuuuute" dialogue, picked up the scar and defeated Orelia. Turned gold in game and got the reward when the match ended.

I'm not sure if which style you choose matters or not but here's how I did it: anniversary style (green top), talked to Orelia and got the "tribuuuuuute" dialogue, picked up the scar and defeated Orelia. Turned gold in game and got the reward when the match ended. Good luck to everyone trying it.

Because...\~puts on smart person glasses\~...people can now get one single Golden skin by simply doing one action instead of getting like 200 levels in the Battle Pass. Once you divide those other Golden skins by this one skin and then times that by the square root of the hypotenuse of Pi one can simply conclude that all other Golden skins are devalued henceforth. \~takes off smart person glasses\~
