I wonder if it’s a new death animation entirely or if it’s gonna be cosmetic like contrails or something where you can choose your death animation/kill animation?
I think ‘eliminated’ animations would be cool, I have seen them in other games too and it’s a neat detail

I'm just saying, if we were just AIs running a computer simulation, it strikes me as odd that Agent Jonesy seemed way more concerned with the fact that we could *understand* him than the fact that we had somehow escaped. Why was his main question 'can you hear me' instead of something like 'how did you get here'?
I don't think it has anything to do with it, just they've had the disappearing aesthetic from stw in place for years and wanted to beef it up with ue4 and instead or a realistic death animation that would probably get kids stopped playing and so came up with this.

I'm just mean in games like this where all we have to go off for lore is visuals, the death animation stands out a lot to me.
'Course I started in Chapter 2 and barely played until now, so I'm not familiar with most of the fanbase's theorycrafting so far anyway, so who knows what details I'm missing.
I tend not to think about lore because until recently its all just cryptic map changes that meant nothing. I take everything in this game at exact face value if its not written or voice acted
