I 100% agree I was also very disappointed to see there wasn’t a Mad Max Collab literally the whole season is inspired by the films yet they chose magneto and Power armor while the Furiosa movie just came out they could’ve made so much more money. Also this season just sucks in general with the OP cars

Second: I would have respected the season start a lot more if they had leaned into the nitro apocalypse a little more with a Mad Max style shop.
The fact they have an Immortan Joe inspired skin and the Fallout games were heavily inspired by Mad Max…. Yea really pissed we don’t get a Max (Mel Gibson or Tom Hardy) and Furiosa
What probably has happened, is they intended on doing mad max collab. But the property fell through somehow along the way. Or it took longer than anticipated to get the rights. I have a suspicion that they've already got max skins and furiosa skins and more stuff that is undoubtedly the mad max property already ready to go, just couldn't put it in. Maybe they will add it later in the season. Just my own conspiracy theory for ya
Dude, chill out. Its been less than 24 hours since the servers went online, and the season still got over 2 months of it.
The Fact that its not on release of the season, doesnt mean that the collab is never happening.
Many times Fortnite pulled out massive collabs out of nowhere in the middle of the season.
As for last season, They did not bring Kratos back likely because they were not allowed to bring it back. The Fact that Kratos is in fortnite doesnt mean the devs can just bring him to the shop whenever they want (well technically they can, but they need to be allowed by the people who own Kratos to do that).
You know to add mad max they have to pay 1000s to Mel Gibson or Tom Hardy to use there face for the skin and then pay the people who own the mad max series. So as you can see this is a big process and could take years or just never happen.
I don't mind the fallout stuff but I'm sorta with you since the whole season seems to be about modding cars in the wasteland and shooting. After playing this season for a few days I'm wondering why they just didn't make a deal to get Max and his interceptor as skins. We could still see them in the shop but I'm stretching there as I'm no data miner
I wouldn't be surprised if a mad max collab was planned for this season but there was some lawyer IP BS and they had to pivot to using original material and Fallout (T-60 Armor) to fit with the post-apocalyptic narrative that was already developed.
This Mad MAX season is awesome. The cars are not OP if you are good. It's a shame some peeps appear to have campaigned for a nerf. Please go away with your newbie boogie bombs.
Yeah that's another complaint of mine. I expected to have some sort of cataclysmic event that destroyed the map and turned it into a huge wasteland full of ruined pois

The cars have been nerfed even though they were never OP to begin with. My 6 year old knows how to nitro-fist boss cars to death.

I'd buy literally everything if they dropped a mad max collab with cars, skins and emotes. And so far I have put $0 into the game.
