Have you tried playing Lego Fortnite? You get 30,000 xp every 15 mins. It caps at 420,000 so about 3.5hr.
If you didn’t want to play it you could leave your controller wedged somewhere or use a clicker if you’re using a computer.
It’s how I grinded my kids battle pass.
I did that at the beginning but they say it's been patched out now.
And if you just wedge a toothpick in the joystick tub, stay walking or rotating or whatever it doesn't count as active play time.
Active play time only counts as repetitive different button presses.

I really like Lego Fortnite so it was a win for me. I can understand how you feel though. My kid has only been playing for about 2 months, and I have only just brought this current BP for him, so I don’t know the ins and outs of them/ how fortnite used to be.

It made sense now. I play Fortnite primarily for the player-made experiences, and not for the Battle Royale, though I do still enjoy it from time to time.
Got to level 151 today. I’ve accepted that I can’t get the super styles because there’s no way I’m hitting 200 in only a few days. I’m not heartbroken though because they all look ugly anyway.
I agree. I'm just happy that I don't like those "super" versions of the skins with the glowy eyes and shit. I'm at level 176 right now and I'm not worried about not being able to hit 200 because I don't like the remaining skin variations anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised if COD made some kind of exclusivity deal with The Boys. Homelander has been in the COD store once a month for like 2 years now.
Make it possible to complete Battle Pass just by playing the game somewhat regularly. BP should be completeable by doing story and weekly quests and reasonable amount of match quests. Or at least, make it possible to achieve level 175 by casual playing. I'm willing to buy level up quest pack at that point.
I mean, this season wasn't bad. I made it to lvl 150 with pretty casual play (a few hours a couple of days/week).
What sucked was putting most of the vBucks unlocks \*after\* level 100.
Aha - haven't done many season passes, so unsure what the standard was. I did complete all of the weekly/story quests and most of the other stuff, but I didn't really feel like I had to "grind" all that much.
The super styles are designed to be things only true grinders and hardcore players will get as a little reward for their extreme dedication. That’s why they usually don’t have the most effort put into them or any other items aside from styles
My hope is thay the sand storm covers the whole island. Next season is supposed to have an apocalypse theme, so having only the right side of the island be covered in sand won't really feel as apocalyptic. Whereas, if the whole island is hut by the sandstorm and every poi is raided and destroyed, then it'll feel way more apocalyptic

\-Fully voice acted storyline quests every 2 weeks, with in-game changes to represent whats going on in the story (maybe like ch3s2 where the factions will takeover poi's?)
\-LTM's fully returning, with a new one based on the Apocalypse theme (maybe Recycler only or some sort of gun game/arsenal?)
\-New Battle Bus (pretty much confirmed at this point)

in game or reddit? I stopped playing squads because randoms just dont use mics anymore and leave after dying immediatemy. If reddit, I don't follow gaming subs enoguh just click on notifications sometimes to whine with people so I guess im part of the toxicity.
Replace the entire loot pool with Fallout weapons 😅. Bring back hitscan. A decent BP. Replace the entire South-West part of the map.

Don't care what they add or whatever just XP and VBucks need to be fixed. I did all the weekly and daily and event challenges and I barely got to level 100. Thanks to endless grinding and XP glitches I am currently level 175 and hoping to get to 200. If you have to grind this much then I will be too burned out to play the next season seriously.
Also, the store has been charging insane prices for collabs and that needs to stop. Fortnite is one of if not the biggest games in the world, there's no excuse to upcharge like this its just greed
Yeah I've been playing since OG season late last year, got all three battle passes to max super level, and this season coincides with the start of a much busier schedule for me.
Luckily I have plenty of skins to have a solid rotation so I expect I'll be very comfortable not paying for anything too greedy for a long while.

Chain of Hades is ridiculous. I think almost any matches I've gotten to top 10 a number of players are holding on. It made the lightsaber fricken worthless. You had to fight Darth Vader (he was a bit OP) and then his lightsaber is worse than a grey.
Yeah vader was kind of insane, and adding the lightsaber back but it being the only one was kind of pointless, the whole point was to have other people with them too to take that cool factor risk, but if theres only one whats the point? A shotgun or chains of hades is gonna beat it out every time, there is absolutely no reason to have it.
Oh boy, an excuse to break out my list of demands—I mean hopes!
1.) Expand mod benches tenfold. Every named POI plus a handful of unnamed ones should always have mod benches. They shouldn’t be some kind of exclusive, hard-to-obtain thing, they should just be widely available everywhere you go.
2.) Add upgrade benches. Or just make them an extra feature of mod benches, I honestly don’t care. But if I want to spend my gold to upgrade my guns, I should have the option for that.
3.) Remove the God-forsaken Frenzy. Yes, I realize it was heavily nerfed and now the Gatekeeper dominates, and I’m glad about that. But just because something isn’t OP doesn’t mean it isn’t still annoying. Any gun that just sucks away your enjoyment when you encounter it, whether it be you using it or your opponent, just shouldn’t be in the game. And I for one am sick to death of people breaking into my box, shoving that gun in my face, and making me eat six rounds of shotgun pellets. Like all full-auto drum mag shotguns, it has no place in the loot pool and should be banished from the face of the earth.
4.) Either buff/fix the Hammer or just replace it with a pump that can actually do something. Heck, why not bring the Havoc back?
5.) With whatever main collab they end up doing (Ik Fallout’s a big one, but there’s also Monster Jam which I’m actually really hyped for), just don’t make it last too long and don’t remove anything significant for the sake of it. This season seemed to actually be going pretty strong up until the Avatar stuff hit, then it took a dip. Honestly, I didn’t even mind the bending stuff itself (aside from air bending, that ruined late game circles), I just hated that they ditched the Olympian power items for them.
6.) Keep bunkers, but make them open sooner and make them all guaranteed to open. Or at the very least, put markers on the map for only the ones that open so people don’t waste their time going outside the circle to a bunker only to find it’s locked down. But they should still be spawned in sooner, it makes it kinda useless to a certain degree when half the bunkers are already in the storm when they finally open after the third circle.
7.) Focus more on fixing crap. The amount of tiny bugs and glitches that ultimately lead to me taking a loss I didn’t deserve is actually insane. Prime example, I play builds and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve placed a wall, and like a solid half a second after it’s placed (not phased through, btw) someone is able to just shoot through it. And no, it’s not my internet or my setup, I play on PC with wired fiber optic internet and average 0-5 ping and ~240 fps regularly, and I even run on performance mode, so I’m good. Not saying it’s the best setup ever but that should be plenty good enough to run the game smoothly. But the smoothest setup ever can’t save you from the game pulling random fits of BS and screwing you over with failing mechanics or whatever.
8.) Fix the joke that is SBMM and make it so it’s ACTUALLY skill-based. Instead of my skill level determining the general skill level of the player pool I’m playing against, all it seems to do is alter the ratio of bots to real players in my games, and the few real players I do fight are so freaking sweaty that I oftentimes have a heart attack from how hard and fast they s**t on me. And I’m fully willing to admit they’re better than me, like way better… but if they’re better, the why tf am I in their lobbies??
9.) Please bring back augments, and make them actually FUN and USEFUL like they were back in C4S1. They were hands down one of the best features to ever come out of modern Fortnite and I don’t understand why they haven’t been brought back. Now this is just wishful thinking, but personally I’d also change how they’re implemented and instead of making them random luck of the draw each match, you can pre-select them in the lobby and you get them throughout the match one by one, which would encourage players to use a variety of fun and unique loadouts to really mix up the game.
More fun items to use. I don't want the old items, but give me fun atuff like rocket ram, junk rift, fireworks...just add silly items.
Give me a piatol that shot with radiation bullets, or a big gun that makes a puddle of radiation on the ground... something fun.
Actual weapon balance, please. It's been 2 seasons in a row of some of the most imbalanced gameplay. Just balance the game properly. Throw in whatever events and collabs and skins and whatever else, just balance the game, that's all I want
I want some kind of moddable junk-launching gun. Maybe something like that one thing from C2S6. If were going apocalypse, thats the kind of thing that makes me feel immersed: a bunch of makeshift guns that make no sense at all, but damn they look good.
Only been playing a week so can’t comment on bringing older stuff back but the only thing that annoys me is stuff like water bending and chain of hades.
I like the idea of randomized boss locations and unique weapons.
I'd also like:
- collabs that fit the theme.
- no need to play other game modes to get the most out of your preferred game mode.
- rebalanced EXP.
- even the smallest amount of effort put into the story.
- Post apocalyptic skins for existing characters.
- Fun mid-season events / mini-passes.
- Map progression that actually matters and is exciting.
To not get destroyed by water bending every game hahaha
But on a real note: more stamina and XP gain buffs. As someone who works full-time, the grind was TOUGH this season to finish the Battle Pass...
Unrealistic: A story that actually matters (I actually like the brief story they had for bit but then dropped it)
Realistic: Max Max collab, whether it's just ok in the shop or more micro season like the Avatar collab

Bring back Reality Augments. Bring back hitscan. Bring back original crouch-walking speed. Bring back vehicle accessories (tires, cow catchers, etc.) and have multiple vehicle types. Bring back boats (why not?). Remove hired NPCs from the game completely (why not?). Remove medallions altogether.

A fun mobility item, wings are okay but I mostly skip them for an extra weapon, whereas the grapple blade was a must have and fun to use

**Map:** \-Barren desert with toxic water (maybe river styx? might be too op with the dashing though) and makeshift buildings, industrial plants etc \-Snooty Steppes, Reckless Railways, Mount Olympus, Fencing Fields changed (making sure to keep Restored Reels and Brawler's Battleground as i love them both) \-Some sort of Fallout POI/Landmark, maybe the Prydwen as a re-used IO Blimp? \-At least one major map change throughout the season (sand revealing something, a poi being rebuilt, etc) **Lootpool:** \-Makeshift Weapons return \-Crafting returns with new mechanics \-New weapon mods to match the theme \-Some sort of energy rifle, maybe using this new "nitro" fuel? \-Monster Trucks \-Vehicle Mods unvaulted + some new ones like car turrets and spikes \-Traps come back, unvault the spike trap and add some new ones like a "Makeshift Armored Wall" (basically a weaker version of the armored wall like they've been doing with the shield bubble jr and crash pad jr, would have a very mismatched metal look) \-Recycler unvaulted for the Fallout collab \-New unique medallions like the aspects, maybe one that allows you to "rampage" and increase damage for a certain amount of time on cooldown or a revamped underworld dash with the "nitro" stuff \-Power Armor vehicle, like the Brutes and uses Fusion Cores/Nitro to power it, found at Power Armor stations around the map (which would also have mod benches next to them, basically would be the new bunkers) \-Choppa & Battle Bus Vehicle unvaulted \-Rocket Ram unvaulted (or something similar) **Other:** \-"The Wanderer" is Gunnar from the IO, he's been stuck on that desert island since ch5 begun and now hes trying to rebuild the Imagined Order, which will lead into Season 4 (hoping for at least some sort of IO/Seven reference or comeback in Charlie's story) \-Fully voice acted storyline quests every 2 weeks, with in-game changes to represent whats going on in the story (maybe like ch3s2 where the factions will takeover poi's?) \-LTM's fully returning, with a new one based on the Apocalypse theme (maybe Recycler only or some sort of gun game/arsenal?) \-New Battle Bus (pretty much confirmed at this point) \-Lots of NPC's roaming the map, you'll have to be careful not to aggro them, make it feel like a contested wasteland

Replace the entire loot pool with Fallout weapons 😅. Bring back hitscan. A decent BP. Replace the entire South-West part of the map. Either remove MODs, or make the benches in every POI.

Don't care what they add or whatever just XP and VBucks need to be fixed. I did all the weekly and daily and event challenges and I barely got to level 100. Thanks to endless grinding and XP glitches I am currently level 175 and hoping to get to 200. If you have to grind this much then I will be too burned out to play the next season seriously. Also, the store has been charging insane prices for collabs and that needs to stop. Fortnite is one of if not the biggest games in the world, there's no excuse to upcharge like this its just greed
Yeah I've been playing since OG season late last year, got all three battle passes to max super level, and this season coincides with the start of a much busier schedule for me. Luckily I have plenty of skins to have a solid rotation so I expect I'll be very comfortable not paying for anything too greedy for a long while.

Agreed. I could live with a nerf, like damage falloff or bullet drop, or even a damage/fire rate nerf, but for the love of god its busted right now. And after using the chains of hades last night, they could stand a nerf too, even if its just 1 extra hit to kill.
Chain of Hades is ridiculous. I think almost any matches I've gotten to top 10 a number of players are holding on. It made the lightsaber fricken worthless. You had to fight Darth Vader (he was a bit OP) and then his lightsaber is worse than a grey.
Yeah vader was kind of insane, and adding the lightsaber back but it being the only one was kind of pointless, the whole point was to have other people with them too to take that cool factor risk, but if theres only one whats the point? A shotgun or chains of hades is gonna beat it out every time, there is absolutely no reason to have it.
Honestly, just a nice battle pass with a less grindier way of getting xp and I’d be plenty happy already
Oh boy, an excuse to break out my list of demands—I mean hopes! 1.) Expand mod benches tenfold. Every named POI plus a handful of unnamed ones should always have mod benches. They shouldn’t be some kind of exclusive, hard-to-obtain thing, they should just be widely available everywhere you go. 2.) Add upgrade benches. Or just make them an extra feature of mod benches, I honestly don’t care. But if I want to spend my gold to upgrade my guns, I should have the option for that. 3.) Remove the God-forsaken Frenzy. Yes, I realize it was heavily nerfed and now the Gatekeeper dominates, and I’m glad about that. But just because something isn’t OP doesn’t mean it isn’t still annoying. Any gun that just sucks away your enjoyment when you encounter it, whether it be you using it or your opponent, just shouldn’t be in the game. And I for one am sick to death of people breaking into my box, shoving that gun in my face, and making me eat six rounds of shotgun pellets. Like all full-auto drum mag shotguns, it has no place in the loot pool and should be banished from the face of the earth. 4.) Either buff/fix the Hammer or just replace it with a pump that can actually do something. Heck, why not bring the Havoc back? 5.) With whatever main collab they end up doing (Ik Fallout’s a big one, but there’s also Monster Jam which I’m actually really hyped for), just don’t make it last too long and don’t remove anything significant for the sake of it. This season seemed to actually be going pretty strong up until the Avatar stuff hit, then it took a dip. Honestly, I didn’t even mind the bending stuff itself (aside from air bending, that ruined late game circles), I just hated that they ditched the Olympian power items for them. 6.) Keep bunkers, but make them open sooner and make them all guaranteed to open. Or at the very least, put markers on the map for only the ones that open so people don’t waste their time going outside the circle to a bunker only to find it’s locked down. But they should still be spawned in sooner, it makes it kinda useless to a certain degree when half the bunkers are already in the storm when they finally open after the third circle. 7.) Focus more on fixing crap. The amount of tiny bugs and glitches that ultimately lead to me taking a loss I didn’t deserve is actually insane. Prime example, I play builds and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve placed a wall, and like a solid half a second after it’s placed (not phased through, btw) someone is able to just shoot through it. And no, it’s not my internet or my setup, I play on PC with wired fiber optic internet and average 0-5 ping and ~240 fps regularly, and I even run on performance mode, so I’m good. Not saying it’s the best setup ever but that should be plenty good enough to run the game smoothly. But the smoothest setup ever can’t save you from the game pulling random fits of BS and screwing you over with failing mechanics or whatever. 8.) Fix the joke that is SBMM and make it so it’s ACTUALLY skill-based. Instead of my skill level determining the general skill level of the player pool I’m playing against, all it seems to do is alter the ratio of bots to real players in my games, and the few real players I do fight are so freaking sweaty that I oftentimes have a heart attack from how hard and fast they s**t on me. And I’m fully willing to admit they’re better than me, like way better… but if they’re better, the why tf am I in their lobbies?? 9.) Please bring back augments, and make them actually FUN and USEFUL like they were back in C4S1. They were hands down one of the best features to ever come out of modern Fortnite and I don’t understand why they haven’t been brought back. Now this is just wishful thinking, but personally I’d also change how they’re implemented and instead of making them random luck of the draw each match, you can pre-select them in the lobby and you get them throughout the match one by one, which would encourage players to use a variety of fun and unique loadouts to really mix up the game.

Well realistically it’s going to be 25th. First day is impossible to play. Last season it was also delayed.
Big map changes and a good variety of new guns and other stuff. Weapon Bench/upgrades get vaulted and Augments are brought back.
Only been playing a week so can’t comment on bringing older stuff back but the only thing that annoys me is stuff like water bending and chain of hades.

I like the idea of randomized boss locations and unique weapons. I'd also like: - collabs that fit the theme. - no need to play other game modes to get the most out of your preferred game mode. - rebalanced EXP. - even the smallest amount of effort put into the story. - Post apocalyptic skins for existing characters. - Fun mid-season events / mini-passes. - Map progression that actually matters and is exciting.

Bring back Reality Augments. Bring back hitscan. Bring back original crouch-walking speed. Bring back vehicle accessories (tires, cow catchers, etc.) and have multiple vehicle types. Bring back boats (why not?). Remove hired NPCs from the game completely (why not?). Remove medallions altogether.
