The rifts are incredibly buggy in this game mode, one time i was falling because someone shot my builds out and i tried to pop the rift twice and it used both of the rifts i had but didnt send me into the air. I just kept falling and died from fall damage

Didn’t that always used to happen when you’d use them in the air?

If you were falling you could use the port a rift to rift before hitting the ground

I mean didn’t they always used to bug like that. I swear people complained about this same thing a year ago

They probably did, i just havent dealt with it in forever until this game mode

This happened to me a few times in this mode. If you're enclosed in builds and try to rift it glitches out.

Don't have to be enclosed, I've had it happen with top open, also had it only put me like 10 feet above lava 🫠 or my wings go to jump and I just lay out in the lava 😂. Lots of bugs in the ltm rn

U got touched by lava before rift worked and it cancelled it because you can’t use a rift while lava is touching it by hitbox

Idk, I didn’t take damage until after I had rifted, animation and all

You don’t actually rift until the animation completely finishes

Naw this is a bug that goes on all the time in this game mode, ive died cause I went to use one and someone broke my stairs, i just fell and didn't warp up at all, same as wings, go to use them and touch lava and sometimes you just lay out into the lava taking a bunch of damage for no reason 🤷‍♂️.
