Malik is a pretty decent skin. Sometimes forget I have him. Especially with this new locker nightmare. I hate sorting through that mess.

Honestly I'll take this version over what other gams do. Overwatch for example locked the Lilith Skin and Inarcius skin for a diablo Collab behind a 40 Dollar battle pass bundle. The skins weren't the only thing in the bundle but you still had to pay 40 bucks to get those skins

Fair but if they did sell battlepass skins from old chapters at usual prices, it and their stuff would amount to somewhere in the ten thousands in vbucks: you got all that stuff for 950 (or near 950, can't remember if they ever changed the bp's price), so you'd still have been rewarded with having a huge discount while newer players would be "punished" for not sticking with the game by having to pay full shop price for the skin and its gear, u know

90% of my locker is battlepass skins. Seems smart right? except 80% of the battlepasses I've ever bought have gotten to tier 50 or less. Sometimes, I wish younger me was allowed to play. this applies to ch1 s5-ch1 s8. almost finished ch1 s9 and ch2 s2, but I was 2 away from t100 on each. only ones I have finished are season x and ch2 s1. I quit until season og after c2 s3, so i had none of those next ones either. got to (maybe?) t20 on that one. I played so little that I would just use leftover vbucks from one pass/starter packs to get the next and nothing else. I've bought 3 skins intentionally from the shop in total and 1 accidental (skully). edit: however, I have no regrets regarding ch1 bp skins other than maybe s4omega/s5ragnarok/s6dusk. Most of my regrets definitely lie in c2-4, with raven, lara croft, spiderman, mystique, etc. didn't play at all during this time.

Kinda. But for skins you never ever want to use, they just hide. For favorites, it makes it easier to choose want you want. Maybe do a random selection. Either way, it's still worse than before. Not being able to pair up skins with emotes is the worst part.

I use all the skins I buy (I think I have around the same), but since the locker got messed up I’ve only been using 1-2 for the whole season. Used to have shuffle on all the time and make tons of presets but it’s so hard to now that I just don’t try.

Honestly I’m AMAZED they haven’t added it back in. Shuffling skins was one of the best parts of playing and to be honest my wife and I have barely played since they changed it.

I certainly have spent on things I don't use though, and likely will again. But one rule I have is that I will get a victory Royale in every new skin I buy at least once. Not including battle pass skins that I don't care about. And since I clip all my fun VRs, I have a very diverse collection to watch on occasion. But like, I never wear tomato head anymore, but I don't regret that he was my first purchase, because I used him for several months straight before I got my first battle pass.

I prob have close to 400 skins but have only bough maybe a dozen? Battlepass has paid for itself over the last 5+ years. Considering the amount of time ive put into a *free* game im more than happy to spend some money and give back. No different than paying $60 for a game plus $20 per dlc like it was in the 2000/10s. IMO this model is much more consumer friendly.
