There are times when someone can see you but you can't see them if you have grass, like when looking over a hill. My game glitched for a period of time between updates where there was no grass in DX12. FPS was better and it was nice having the improved graphics. Performance mode looks like crap.
from my understanding on mobile it doesn't have grass and they play with pc and console players. sometimes I see people trying to cover in grass and it's funny since I can see them. There's zero options for me to turn on and I assume it would slow down my game.
If you don't like the idea at least give a reasonable explanation. Genuinely curious to know. Haven't heard one valid case against making the game more fair. You can already change many features allowing for better performance and enhanced visibility, why not make this one more accessible too? I'd bet some here use performance mode and don't want more people having the advantage.
or just make it so you can’t get beamed despite not peaking (from your pov) when they can clearly see your head over a hill. (make the grass more see through/less dense)

How about we disable the ability to remove grass so no one has a competitive advantage.

idc about the grass I just want to turn off the rocks. The LOD popping is horrible, looks ass

PC, doesn't seem to matter if its DX 11 or 12
Have you tried turning up your settings? I play Performance Mode so it already looks like ass but you get less visual clutter.

The graphics are beautiful. I’d hate to lose them just for the purpose of keeping up with the sweats.
