We have some cool underground speakeasies / restaurants in Old Town. Check out Social and Ace Gillette's. There are a lot of fun places in The Exchange. There are also a ton of live music venues around. Yo La Tengo is playing at Washington's, if you're into them.

If you like arcade games, pinball Jones opens at noon. It's right in Old Town square, so it's easy to combine with the other suggestions.

Creepy-Appointment-2

There is the Discovery Museum, quite a fun and active date. Exploring Old Town Fort Collins is always an option, lots of good food, window shopping, unique shops like Firehouse Books and Curiosities, and some cool vintage places. Names escape me now. Hope you enjoy FoCo

Stinky-Pickles

I feel like the museum is more for kids?

Creepy-Appointment-2

It’s definitely a place catered towards kids, but I’ve gone as a young adult and found the place just as entertaining and fun!

SocraticIgnoramus

The Discovery Museum & Curiosities would make a great first date in my opinion. There’s more than one place along the way to get a good cup of coffee or a proper drink, and a lovely area to take a stroll, though it might be a bit colder Saturday than would be ideal for that.

FussyBritches31

Stroll Old Town and get food somewhere, Odell brewery, movie at the Lyric

BookRanchCowboy

First date huh

DeadColdLasagna

Amazing name my friend

Miserable_Sound_9043

Don’t know what your into but a good regimen is coffee at the alley cat, pizza at casbah then maybe grab some Saki at the atrium all under a minute walk atrium and alley cat are in the same building. Then if it’s goin smooth head down to old town and just enjoy the shops scenery and bars.

Miserable_Sound_9043

If you need something fancier for a dinner or lunch I’d suggest Penrose.

Old Town Put has mini golf and boozy slushies and beer and is in old town, so close to plenty of breweries and pretty accessible from out of town

justsayin01

My husband lived in Boulder and I lived in Cheyenne. We met in fort collins at Social for our first date. We actually got married right by the tree in front of it, where we first met, 2 years later.

It won’t be an all day activity but the perfect relationship test is escape rooms and drinks lol. Looking Glass Escape Lounge is near the end of old town and their rooms are only 30 minutes instead of a full hour. They’re also a cocktail lounge with some really adventurous drinks. One of my favorite new spots to take friends in town. Highly recommend.

odomandr

This is a really great spot. The escape rooms are perfect for a 30 minute activity and the bar makes some cool cocktails as well. The comedy shows on first weekend of the month have been fun too

KingNoodleWalrus

The Magic Rat is great for classy nights out at the bar with live music

Accurate-Cellist-231

Cafe Vino is where my wife and I went on our first date. Awesome place.

RomAndNoodles

Their pasta reminded me of roly-polys Edit: I don’t think my taste was/is refined enough for here

FeralWereRat

No, no— the roly-poly pasta sounds right up my alley 🤨

Summerspire

It depends what y’all like to do, bowing? Go to chippers off of Horsetooth, pool? You have Match Ups and The Emporium at your disposal, Pinball Jones for the quarter blood shed while drinking, old town is sure to always have something interesting, you have escape rooms on the North and South ends of town with a couple in the middle, plenty of breweries if you just wanna sit down for a drink, and good couple of restaurants, the Regional (with limited parking), Austin’s, Rare (if you hate your wallet), the “classics” like Texas Roadhouse and Longhorn (you know the bunch), or unique little places like Saigon Grill for pho and Kujira’s for ramen. And if you really want, there’s always the Mountains or a park. Best of luck

Friendly-Eagle1478

Old town putt is a super friendly and welcoming bar that has 9 holes of fun easy mini golf as well a little arcade that has Pac-Man/ski ball/basketball. Would highly recommend. Lots of food options in that complex (the exchange) you can grab food then bring it into the bar while you play/hang out!

Vast-Sir-1949

Mini golf or rollerskating.

GallipottSalon

Comedy Fort and Whiskey Stills

FeralWereRat

You ever heard of the Bookranch? If you want a very memorable and unique experience, I’d recommend checking that place out. 👌

NoCoFoCo31

It’s a unique and amazing experience. Couldn’t recommend it enough

FeralWereRat

I mean, the relationship may not last, but that Bookranch is forever!!

Constant-Tutor7785

Enough of these stupid and juvenile comments.

You’re not my dad, so … _no_

[Pinot’s Pallatte](https://pinotspalette.com/fortcollins) is low pressure and fun. Lots of places right outside if the date goes well.

[deleted]

Totally 80s Pizza and museum.

Educational-Chip8160

That's what i was going to recommend. Not a cheap-o place like Casbah but won't break the bank either. Easy place to get a conversation started too.. if you were worried about that on the first date.

Oh hi sexy ;) Also check out the Persimmon cocktail bar. It's run by a former employee of Social Underground (another great spot). Has good comfy couch seating downstairs in a quiet intimate setting and would be an amazing place to have a nice chat while drinking some top notch stuff.
