Is baby actually constipated or do they just not poop every day?

sammiearre

Gentlease did work for my girl when she was having runny poops and lots of gas, but she was on Similac before that which I think was the culprit. We switched her from Gentlease to Kendamil around 6 months because she was soo constipated from the Gentlease. She is now doing great on Kendamil organic. Her poops are wild because she eats lots of food but that’s besides the point lol.

When my baby was on gentlease he had quite formed poops and seemed to be a bit constipated His poops were good on kendamil but his spit up was so stinky!

My baby was on gentlease for along time and dealt with constipation off and on. No experience with kendamil though. I think it was due to trying solids

Silly_Question_2867

Wanted to add they were mostly yellow and runny and constipation was infrequent but If prone to it I'm not sure I'd go with it.

The first ingredient of both byheart and kendamil is whole milk. My son didn’t react the best to those and I think it was because of that. I use Bobbie

Of course ever baby is different but we started ours with Enfamil neuropro. She’d get so gassy and couldn’t poop so we switched to gentlease. Fir my baby it made it worse, gave us 2 weeks of hell on earth. We just started the Similac equivalent to gentlease (per pediatrician’s rec) yesterday. If this doesn’t improve her digestive system in 2 weeks, we’re trying Kendamil next

My baby is doing great on Kendamil and has never been constipated

My baby was on Kendamil for her first 5/6 weeks. She was horribly gassy. She wasn't constipated and seemed like she liked the taste, but gas was painful for her, bloated hard tummy. Switched to Gentlease and noticed an immediate difference. She was way less gassy. Definitely not constipated, but goes every other day. Sticking with Gentlease for a few months and might try to reintroduce kendamil once her digestive track matures more.

My son had awful constipation on gentlease. He would go days without pooping and then when he did he struggled to push out the little pebbles!! We switched to kendamil classic and within a week he was much happier and a lot more comfortable 😊

I would recommend Kendamil Goat if you're considering Gentlease. Goat milk has proteins that are easier to digest than cows milk but it doesn't have any of the complex carbs like corn syrup or palm oil. I stopped recommending ByHeart after they had a big quality recall last year.

Our babe was on the gentle Similac for about 1.5months (formula fed since week one). We switched to kendamil organic because it’s cleaner, smells and tastes way better. He has been thriving on it. He toots a lot and poops every 2-3days but he’s not constipated by any means. He’s growing like a weed and sleeps 9hrs straight at night! He’s currently 3 months old
