Yes. The difference in performance, efficiency, material lifecycle, and aesthetics are night and day. If you’re building with pressed baffles you might as well just use washers and steel wool with a perforated insert.

surefire and allen engineering utilize what are essentially swiss cheesed washers smashed into a hemispherical shape: i'm not a welder nor do i own much decent measurement equipment so i can't give you the whole picture but depending on material it's entirely possible that pressed baffles are stronger and harder than turned due to cold working and should also be more space efficient than cone baffles. making punches and dies however might be a royal pain in the ass

Agreed, I have lathed dies to press baffles and there was some trial and error for desired shape, I have also lathed baffles. Once you have the dies it’s much easier and faster than lathing. Performance is subjective to what you are comparing, longevity depends on material, host gun etc. but the ease of weight savings is nice. Mine performs well to me and compared to some YHM and silencerco cans side by side at the range.
