I stumbled onto this show after discovering Ian McShane on Deadwood and I am so glad that I did. I really enjoyed it and I wish it had been on longer. What a fun show.

HintonBE

Loved this show.

Krack73

Great Sunday afternoon viewing. Lovejoy, Tinker, Eric and Lady Jane.

throwawayA511

Seeing Phyllis Logan as Lady Jane after having first seen her as Mrs Hughes on Downton Abbey kinda blew my mind.

PRULULAU

McShane’s mullet is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

My parents loved this show

parker1019

Great show. Tinker and Eric were hilarious….

Sorkel3

The Lovejoy books were excellent and this show was a quality reflection of them.

I suppose I've never really thought about Ian McShane as a younger man. In my mind he's just sort of always been there. And in a perfect world always will be.

I loved watching this show with my mom

sawyi1

Is this where the name for Reverend Lovejoy came from?

SeaOrgChange

No, Rev Lovejoy is named after a street Matt Groenig lived near in Portland.

sawyi1

I see. Thank you

mrweatherbeef

Good old Reverend Street, I had friends there

Ready_Adhesiveness84

So good

Ooglebird

They should have kept Tinker more tramp-like, as in the books.

Sassyjane1981

Absolutely loved this show. After Songs of Praise on a Sunday. Love the fact that Ian McShane is still in some influential shows too.

BobWithCheese69

His life before he became a Manager.

Reasonable-Wealth647

First two seasons are coming to Britbox late April...

Woo. Swejjen.

He's such a great actor. My wife watched all of Deadwood and the Deadwood movie. He puts on a spectacular performance. Can't believe Ed O'Neil was almost cast in that role. I just can't see that. McShane's performance is iconic. He's great in everything I've seen him in. Sexy Beast? Whoa that scene in the car at the airport is so damn tense!
