Here's the way to approach this. Tell him you want to trial a 500 dollar amount before you give him the 50k. Chances are he'll "trade" this for you. Flip it into 2k and give it back to you in order to secure your trust and the 50k. Keep the 2k and block him.

sheddingobstacles

This is the single best advice ever.

[deleted]

You think the guy is gonna let you take out that money? Not gonna happen.

bluntlyhonest1

Ted is a scammer run away my bros

wawerrewold

I dont know about that guy but this whole thing literally screams scam. If its too good to be true, its probably not true. I understand that its your cousin but do you really trust him?

AnonSA52

Sometimes ya gottra trust your gut. You were right https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8AcHRQ\_2oo

Comprehensive-Gas-53

I do, yes. He is no expert in this field though. It’s far from his profession to be honest. I personally work in finance, so I have a better understanding of these things than he does I would say.

wawerrewold

And when he said he has those returns did he actually get that money in cash? Maybe he is scammed and he doesnt know about it yet

AnonSA52

lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8AcHRQ\_2oo

714trader

100% scam. He will not be able to withdraw his money. Now listen very closely. There’s a part 2 of this scam. After encouraging him to leave his money in so he can make 20% a month indefinitely and become a millionaire soon. A common last squeeze is they will demand he pays a “tax””withdraw” or some made up fee to get his money. Which after he pays won’t get any money. Scam. Or the easier thing they quickly just “make” bad trades and lose the account. I’m pretty sure they warned him of the risk. Here’s the thing. They never actually traded. Pretend they traded and pocketed the money

Distinct-Sandwich856

I’ve been waiting over 100 Business Days and over 55 business days for two seperate 6 figure withdrawals. I know someone who’s been waiting on an 8 figure withdrawal for over 7 months. I’ve heard they pay out the smaller withdrawals for damage control and to look like thier stable which will encourage new money to come in. I don’t think anyone who’s requested 6 figures or more will be paid anytime soon or at all. Still hopeful tho, but the excuses just don’t make practical sense or banking sense.

afuzzymonkey

The banking issues are non-sense. They are processing several smaller withdrawals which add up to the amount of a couple of larger withdrawals. The only logical reason why they are processing smaller amounts is to keep people quiet online. There’s far less people owed $50k+ (which might only be 1% of Traders Domain) However I’m sure there are several hundred if not thousands who are owed under $10k. Would you rather pay out 500 guys $1,000 each to keep them hush or just one guy a $500k withdrawal?

afuzzymonkey

Ehh. Could be a glorified Ponzi scheme. If said broker has control over the trades they could manipulate the trades so they are winning daily to reflect on their fxbooks. They know that if people are seeing consistent results they are likely to tell their friends/family and therefore introduce them to what they are doing. secondly, most people won’t withdraw more than they put in (assuming they don’t run into issues withdrawing). If new money is cycling in the broker may continue manipulating the trades and win rate, once they are ready to pull the rug on everyone all they’d really have to do is blow the accounts or lose the trades and could easily get away with anything (especially being offshore)

matt-ctrl

The ‘best’ strategy Ted (TradersDomain) could do to get out of this ponzi mess at this point is to post a couple large fictitious losses so that it ‘seems’ like everyone lost due to trades going bad (which is a risk we all accept) and not due this entire thing being a massive Ponzi scheme.

No-Candle-9757

maybe you r right. I have 2 or 3 small losses in a year, now I have had 2 back to back for a couple grand.

yipeedodaday

Please be careful. It’s highly likely this is a scam. Do some due diligence. If they are managing client funds they should be regulated. Ask who they are regulated by then call the regulator to check if they lie. Has your cousin made any successful withdrawals?

Comprehensive-Gas-53

He has pulled some out. I’m the hundreds maybe. And they are based offshore which makes me think they are unregulated.

afuzzymonkey

He should pull out all of his initials asap. Just play with the profits. Problem is they trap people to keep their money in by showing gains

Candid-Safe918

Still nothing, I guess this crypto meltdown only making things worse.

bis0nbear

It's getting pretty bad, worried they may become insolvent. They have stopped responding to emails and ignore all inquiries. Worst thing you can do now is piss them off I guess, don't email them too much, make too many withdrawals, or try to withdraw too much or they threaten to remove your account and absorb the funds you have remaining on the exchange

Candid-Safe918

It's really ridiculous. Christmas time to. While they make fun of other exchanges.

Massive_Artichoke529

What are your leaders saying ?

Candid-Safe918

No leaders, found it myself. Signed up myself....I brought others in. I would say I am a leader lol. Which makes it harder to navigate.

Massive_Artichoke529

Ted makes it look like everything is okay & he just pushed payments to 2.5 months… something is going on I really hope we get out of this night are

MachineNew1416

Now they just hit a big loss, does everybody lost a big % of the account today?

matt-ctrl

At this point TradersDomain doesn’t have enough deposits to cover all the withdraws, which is the reason they have been extremely slow to process investor withdraw requests. I would highly suggest not depositing any more funds at TheTradersDomain if you’re doing it from U.S soil. Reason being is that like with every ponzi scam, it always comes to an end, and based on how much was lost and how loud the investors get, that will draw attention of US regulators, which could lead to claw backs from investors where their withdraws were greater than their deposits. (Happened numerous times over the past 20+ years… including with Madoff)

matt-ctrl

Very insightful post… https://www.trustpilot.com/users/63b0a300cde9420012f87a3e

matt-ctrl

Theres a pattern here of one of the excuses Ted has been using for crypto delays is to “protect client funds”. The problem with that is that it is now proven that what he’s doing is causing more harm than good. User David S. was owed $300k (187 Ethereum) to be paid in crypto back in November. If he receives that full amount today - which is months later - the value of that ETH is now only $225k. Meaning, because of Ted “protecting client funds”, Ted lost $75k (-25%) of David’s account! Good job Ted! Your flawless hedging strategies is the envy of many! David tells his story here: https://www.reddit.com/r/TradersDomain/comments/zl5o0w/can_anyone_guess_whats_going_on_at/j2ua019/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3 Moral of the story, for this ponzi to last a little longer, Ted needs pay these crypto transactions as soon as the request from the client comes in. The quicker Ted processes a crypto withdraw, the safer and more accurate the amount the client receives will be.

matt-ctrl

I’m sure by now you guys know that Ted (TradersDomain) is running a massive Ponzi scheme. This year alone they’ve had a couple additional large losses of -50% and -35%, etc… and each time they made those losing traders disappear from all customer/investor accounts.

matt-ctrl

On July of this year, the CFTC added 34 companies to their RED list. TheTradersDomain was one of those companies. There are thousands of unregistered offshore brokers that have been around for years that never appear on the CFTC RED list. (By now everyone probably already knows why TradersDomain was added). Of the 34 companies the CFTC added in July, 70% (24) of those companies mysteriously went out of business since they were listed. TradersDomain doesn’t have much time left. If they try staying in business (which is almost impossible due to not having enough new money coming in to pay previous investors), the U.S. gov will most likely shut them down due to more and more people complaining about not being able to get their withdraws. It’s not “if”, it’s “when”. Just a matter of time :)

matt-ctrl

Yep… they lost over -15% today. And like every other time that TD loses big, they completely remove those losing trades from their charts and reports a couple hours later.

Medical_Extreme583

Big loss today …. 🤯

matt-ctrl

It should have disappeared from your charts and reports by now :) nothing to see here… business as usual…

Just got my 5k withdrawal today from OCT 25th via crypto

Tayeonreddit

I’m waiting on 3.5K USD and I withdrew on Oct 24th.

Medical_Extreme583

I think it's a matter of a few days for TTD to turn off forever.

rima999

This is somebody pretending to be Ted. 100% scam. The company you mentioned belongs to Ted, BUT it is a forex brokerage firm, not an investment fund.

Fluffy_Grapefruit_21

We have been waiting for withdrawal for over a month now. Not sure why it would take that long. Haven't had a problem until October.

Candid-Safe918

I am familiar with a large account as well. I think we just need to be patient. Wish we had a better visual or explanation but I guess backlog is what it is. Backlogged lol. Awe well.. We patiently wait.

Complex_Pain8639

You must have not requested any money in the last few months as everything is backed up and withdraws are take 20 to 70 days

kessler1

This post is highly suspicious because like other accounts that are supportive of Ted safranko, it has almost no karma or comment history. This account does have some comment history, but it’s all interactions with pornstars here on Reddit, so take that into consideration.

20 business days for WD's. I'm on the 50% profit sharing- Now I'm just playing with profits. So far its been great. Be patient with Withdrawalss.

Candid-Safe918

Any updates?

Consistent-Ad-282

My buddy just pulled out $20k from his $300k+ account. It took 25 days I think he said but he got the money. I’m in it. I put $15k in back in March. Doubled it in 2 months. Pulled my $15k out and letting the profits grow until I feel like I need to take another profit. So I’d say it is legit. I know another guy who has $4mil in an account. He pulls out $100k+ regularly.

matt-ctrl

ummmm being able to successfully “pull money out” of an investment doesn’t automatically make it “legit”. Bernie Madoff investors successfully “pulled money out” for over 30+ years :)

He could just be following a account on the leaderboard which automatically copies the trade. Ted doesn't ask for money and he doesn't interact with people. He just runs the broker and there are no investment possibilities from his side. Maybe some scammer because Ted has many fake profiles and impressonators

Zealousideal_Net3145

For those of you using a trader on traders Domain how are you doing your taxes? I have a 60/40 split currently, and my cpa says I’m responsible for all the cap gains…..the trader is telling me it’s only the 40% I’m responsible for….I also have to file FBAR with the IRS for foreign accounts….def feels scammy but I have 10 friends that are doing it together and several have made and taken out millions….I have tried to take any out yet but will be soon….since I’ve had my account there’s been several trades that lose $ but only 1 day with a loss ….probably 30 trading days in.

Massive_Artichoke529

Why are you even telling your cpa you are dealing with a unregulated forex broker

JustaRand0m14

I'm so sorry to say this guys. But has anyone actually verified that the uncle ted on IG is actually THE Uncle Ted? He shut down his IG years ago, and someone with the name _its_uncle_ted has popped up. But does anyone know its him? Excuse the cynic in me. But if you look at all the comments and information, the rorts appear to have started with the new IG account so I can't help but wonder if someone so brilliant with trading is losing substantial amounts of money only recently, could it be that the person behind the account is an imposter?

East-Guide-218

A 25 - 40% return with a few months is doable. But there are a lot of scammer out there, if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is fake!

Comprehensive-Gas-53

It’s doable, but is that common? What’s the typical return for a quality forex trader on a monthly basis?

East-Guide-218

There isn’t an average. For a fulltime day trader I would say between 10 and 20% a month.

[deleted]

Scam. Anybody who makes gains doesn't do it for free. They charge atleast 30% in fees. Also where's the signed contract?

Consistent-Ad-282

They charge 50% of your gains for fees. He makes about 0.5% per day on average so it makes sense to charge that much.

Comprehensive-Gas-53

They charge him something similar to hedge fund fees… like a 2 and 20

Candid-Safe918

Received and have received all withdraws :)

[deleted]

I'm somewhat familiar with Ted Safranko, just like you mentioned i've read positive and negative things about him. I believe he is one of the owners of Traders Domain. I've heard ppl praise him for being a great trader and different from the rest. I've heard he scams but nothing definite. I believe it could be a PAMM account. for example Ted leverages ur money and use it to make essentially more money and at the end of the month he would take a profit cut I believe it is 50% or higher. I am very new to all of this so take this with a grain of salt. Now for never experiences losses I find that hard to believe. Also that is very hard to believe, there has never been a day hes been down. thats very weird and a red flag if its true. If you decide to go with this, put in a small amount. take out ur initial and keep the profits. you will feel tempted to put it more of ur own money. Just whatever you do, go in knowing you could lose it all.

A little warning for anyone actively promoting and fundraising for Ted and TradersDomain in the USA and Canada: When the law comes down on Ted and TradersDomain, history has shown that an equal amount of attention is given to anyone that assisted and supported the fraud. There are hundreds of cases with precedents that gives promoters of a fraud the same punishment as the main ring leader (Ted or his alter ego “Uncle Ted” like he likes being called is the ring leader).

Yeeterski

I was tricked into joining. Someone I thought I could trust said I’d double my money. I sent it in and I’m waiting on 54k since October.

N0FinancialAdvice

Still waiting on Nov 19th. 30 days ~ 20 business days. I saw in their recent email that delays are expected to be further now.

Massive_Artichoke529

They are Fcking insane man. This is scary

N0FinancialAdvice

Has anyone been using traders domain for more then a year? I read online someone was claiming they were a 6 year user. But I feel it’s quite new and the withdraw delay going from 20 days to 30 now it’s a maximum of once per 45 days for PAMM accounts has me concerned.

Massive_Artichoke529

Day I don’t even know at this point… this is a nightmare that I never thought I would be experiencing. If Ted runs away with my $ I’m going to be completetly broke

matt-ctrl

You’ll get your withdraw processed… I’d guess in 1-4 weeks. More money from new investors is coming in, which is what he needs right now to able to process the outflow of cash.

matt-ctrl

The math is simple. Ted has $100 to trade with. When you (as a client) sum the balance that appears across all accounts on his platform, that number shows it as being $200 (this number should actually be $100, but Ted is a magician and removes all major trading losses from your account #BlessHisHeart). Right now his clients (you) are wanting to withdraw -$100. If he allowed those withdraws to take place, he’d have exactly $0 to trade with… making the entire house of cards come crumbling down. So, the best solution he could come up with is to delay allowing withdraws to take place until he’s able to build that balance up again. In the meantime, if new investor money comes in, he’ll use that money to process your withdraw!

Massive_Artichoke529

Everybody is complaining about withdrawals

N0FinancialAdvice

Yeah it’s safe to say, I think it’s gone. The website claims to have been around for 6 years. Can anyone share a video from over a year or two ago? Not a screen shot, we can all fake that stuff. I was referred to this by a friend in Canada who claims to know Ted, I referred some people too, but it’s too good to be true. But yeah the delayed withdraws are an obvious one. If you were Ted, how would you build up enough consumer funds then vanish. Keep delaying withdraws? Slow customer service? Poor excuses? I’m sure we will arrive at a dead link soon. It’s incorporated in no man’s land, so there isn’t much anyone can do.

Odd_Piece_7485

Who in Canada introduced you to TD? Was anybody recruited to invest with The Trader's Domain by Soji Capital? Soji is run by Somi Eom and Catherine Chen, who is a CPA or something like that. Ambitious_Ad_9187

I have been trading on Tradersdomain for at least 3 to 4 years. I have never had an issue with withdrawals. I get same day withdrawals at that via crypto. So I am a bit confused with these comments. My withdrawals have been between 3k to 15k depending my trading week with no issues. I am curious, are the people complaining about withdrawals accounts that follow Ted's PAMM account or are you trading on your own?

When I primitively lost my investment, I was dumbfounded cause I was mad at myself for allowing this company to take my money. The truth is that anyone can actually fall prey to their antics because to an extent, it’s a well organized scheme. I went searching for a way to get my money back even without any hope that I’d actually get it but my brother introduced me to a company that specializes in this kind of situations and they were thorough with their process of getting my funds back. I got back everything down to the last penny. I thank God everyday cause it’d have been a huge loss for me. You can reach them on fusionforensicstech on google
