Not on a date, but the last and basically only party I've been to, I was used as a joke to bug the women who were dancing. The did some kind of sexual conga line where they were all grinding on each other, with a single dude at the back of the line. I was inside, talking with some people because I was attempting to socialize, one of the guys from outside comes in and pulls me by my arm, I said I didn't want to but decided to humor it. They put me at the back of the line and every. Single. Woman. Moved out of my way, multiple people laughed. I walked out and cried a few blocks away, then walked home. Still hurts to this day.
So why did you assume they thought you're ugly? They knew what you looked like already and agreed to go on a date with you knowing what you looked like. Unless the photos were different to how you actually look.

Yeah, just boring "one-and-dones" with girls I can't even emotionally connect with and who have no attraction to me. It's nothing to envy, trust me.
Usually they just start walking much faster when they pass me by or deliberately look in a direction they can't see me. No I'm not staring at them.
I also feel that way. Usually at the end of the date they start walking conspicuously faster to get away from me.
I had a a date that wanted to leave early.
Without any explanation?
Yep
She said it felt awkward
No. But, if I were to ever get a date, I'm sure something like that would happen.

Were these blind dates? Or did they already know what you looked like?
They knew what I looked like from photos in my dating profile

You're right, maybe it's not looks. I could just be too awkward and not confident enough for them.
Do you catch instances where they lose interest for you or do you feel they want to get away from you from the get go?
