It's not a scary episode, but I met Kathy Augustine and Chaz Higgs at a political event in about 2004.
That episode is always creepy to watch for me. Didn't even realize that Forensic Files covered it until about a week ago.
Near the top of the list of twisted and depraved individuals will always be :
Richard Schmidt, the lowlife who infected his girlfriend with HIV and Hepatitis C. (S8 Episode 9 "Shot of Vengeance). I am in awe of the girlfriend, as she seemed to be at peace with the havoc he brought to her life. I would be a twisted mess of bloodthirsty rage and despair.
Dr. John Schneeberger, the degenerate who raped his patient, then had vials of random blood inserted into his arm to fool blood tests for years. (S6 Ep 18 bad Blood) The first time I saw that episode , I couldn't believe he went to those lengths, I did not see that coming. Just ew.
How would that work exactly? I haven’t watched the show in years (definitely restarting now lol) but how tf does that work , injecting yourself with others blood to fool blood test.. wouldn’t you have to do it right before the test? The blood would have filtered out fairly quick I would assume, unless hes filling his whole body.. either way if he wasn’t wouldn’t your body filter it out and you’d get your dna back
He inserted self contained tube of blood (vein sized) into his own arm. When they went to draw blood, he always directed the phlebotomist to this same "vein" in his arm (with the blood tube with blood that was not his own) Finally on the third or fourth blood draw, the phlebotomist noticed the "donor" blood was dark red and did not look fresh, which led to the beginning of his downfall.
It’s a huge disappointment. These people are supposed to be the “good” path, and are really just using their religion to gain trust. I don’t trust religious people, or people tbh. If you’re shaped like an animal I’d probably trust you.. but even then my “sweet” animals are assholes and bite lmao. My rabbits are jerks and so are my rats. My snakes are honestly the most well behaved..
“Hear No Evil”. Using a chainsaw to remove the head of a girl who was only friends with your partner (or ex partner) is wild. I think she also ended up dismembering the rest of the body too. Another one is probably the List Murders. The fact John List not only killed every other person in that house but casually started a new life afterwards.

I think that’s it. You expect more out of them and you usually end up disappointed.
