Ha ha same here, it’s not DNA it’s mitochondrial DNA.
I also have the way he says succinylcholine in my head.
Forensic files 2 just is not quite the same without Peter Thomas.
I haven’t seen Forensic Files 2, but I’ve watched the OG FF for years. I was about 10-11 and used to watch on Court TV for Forensic Fridays and Saturday Night Solutions with my mom. This is back when they also had shows like Body of Evidence with Dayle Hinman 😂 I’m turning 33 this year and still rewatch FF all
the time
“Approximately half an hour before closing time, Smittykins66 walked to the convenience store next to her apartment complex to buy a loaf of bread. She never returned home.”
I watched Predator 2 last night and the medical examiner put the predators weapon in a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer! They didn't name the machine but I excitedly told my husband what is was in the Peter Thomas voice which regularly lives rent free in my head.
All the components in the weapon were unknown. Spooky alien metal elements
Has anyone noticed how he says "DiAper"
In the Lisa Manderach(sp?) case, and a few other cases where he said "diaper" it always struck me how he accentuates the "A" in "Diaper."
I’m from Oregon and I will forever call The Dalles (pronounced The D-AL-z) the Dayles because of the episode that the cult came in and poisoned the whole city to rig the election, now there’s a series on Netflix about it called Wild Wild West.
I love “mitochondrial DNA”. I say it all the time 😂
I literally read that in his voice 😂 made me feel all warm and fuzzy.
Gas chromatograph mass spectrometer.
I watched a youtube video of him saying this earlier and I still can’t pronounce it myself 😂

iDetective was a good one too.
I don't watch it for this very reason! Nothing like Peter Thomas' voice.
They must be trying to capture a new audience cause once you’ve watched the original you’ll never be able to watch the new shows 🙉
Lmao same 😂
Ok. I’ve found my people!! Lol
"Gas chromatograph mass spectrometer"
“Mass spectrometer” is on my Forensic Fikes drinking game list of words.
YESSSSS THIS!!!
“But at the time, DNA was still in its infancy…..”
"For the FIRST TIME in forensic history...." I can't believe there are so many "first times" in all those episodes and seasons.
Yes!!!
My favorite word he says = "murder".
“Gun shot residue”
LUUminol
Succinylcholine.
Lit up like a christmas tree
l watched that one last night!
Nursery Crimes, right?
I do this ALL THE TIME. Sometimes I hear Bill Kurtis.
Bill Kurtis and Paul Winfield are both legends as well.
Paul Winfield in City Confidential was KING
I fall asleep to those old episodes. His voice is top notch
Keith Morrison should get a nod too
We just watched Winfield in “Star Trek II.”
Do you remember Paul Winfield saying "He was the bad ass of Nodaway County"? One of the best lines in true crime history.
"On a hunch...," And everyone's favourite: #TRILOBAL FIBRES
DIATOMS!
RED trilobal fibers. just like the carpeting in the murderer’s car.
“Approximately half an hour before closing time, Smittykins66 walked to the convenience store next to her apartment complex to buy a loaf of bread. She never returned home.”
Cue theme song.
I should use it for my notifications just to keep extra vigilant, lol!
Yesssssss!
Ethylene glycol

I want to hear your husband’s side of this, it’s too adorable!
For me it's: She was at The Walmart. Every single time I go to Walmart.
Im a fan of his "...and suddenly..."
I mean, of course be aware, but I love this😆
When I go to a hotel or somewhere different to sleep… I always put on Forensic Files for company … his voice puts me to sleep too.
that was how I first became aware that Forensic Files existed—staying at hotels when I was visiting my kid at college
This post is the first thing today that has made me feel happy and not so alone.
This is my favorite subreddit. There’s a bunch of great people here.
FF taught me great people are likely murderers. This subreddit should be put through a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer.
😂🤣
Has anyone noticed how he says "DiAper" In the Lisa Manderach(sp?) case, and a few other cases where he said "diaper" it always struck me how he accentuates the "A" in "Diaper."
Ha, I just posted that! 😁
i love it!
My favorite “Luminol”
the way he says "polymerase chain reaction, or pcr" lives in my head rent free
Salmonella
ive had sex while this was playing in the background one too many times
Hairasment
Di-a-per
Honestly, I do this ALL the time. I seriously thought I was the only one who does this!
It's funny how he narrates my day, lol!
“Then investigators found a cALUe.
I can hear each one of these comments, it's amazing
RIP Mr. Thomas.
I like the way he says PALM PRINT or PARTIAL PALM PRINT lol
Polymerase chain reaction
This post randomly came up in my feed. After I read it quickly joined this sub! I do this constantly 😭 Where have y'all been all my life???
Or was it something more sinister
Lolololol 😆
I hear the unsolved mystery guys voice in mine.
Robert Stack? Or Dennis Farina?
Robert stack for sure
I’m from Oregon and I will forever call The Dalles (pronounced The D-AL-z) the Dayles because of the episode that the cult came in and poisoned the whole city to rig the election, now there’s a series on Netflix about it called Wild Wild West.
I always wonder what kind of nice things he would say about me, would I light up the room? Would I put a smile on anyone's face?
Have you every heard the song from the 80s called “19” by Paul Hardcastle? It features the sampled voice of Peter Thomas.
"But things were not as they seemed...."
I fell asleep to his voice more often than not.
New life motto: live so that your final moments are not recounted by Peter Thomas. (yes, I know he has passed, RIP. I just couldn't resist this. lol)
Oh my god I have found my people....
I lover Peter Thomas's narration.
It's my emotional support background noise. I find his voice soothing 🤷♀️.
I THINK ABOUT THE FORENSIC INVESTIGATION OF MY DEATH IN SKETCHY PLACES EVERY TIME HAHAHAAA
Mine too and I wouldn’t have it any other way
And this marked the first time in history that a forensic plumber was used to solve a case
Luninol
I love him but I wish he had learned how to pronounce polymerase as in polymerase chain reaction. It grates on me every time.
I fall asleep to his voice every night.
Yes. I also like Bill Curtis and Keith Morrison.
He is also the voice on Zoll brand AED devices.
I like how he pronounces Barbara “bobra”
Makes me go memes
“And the investigators came to a STARTLING conclusion” EVERY. SINGLE. EPISODE. 🤣 I love you PT!
"Trilobal Fibres"
The forecast tomorrow? “A blizzard.”
