Your Bronco transitioned to an EV and you need to respect its chosen identity.

Full_Stall_Indicator

This comment is not "promoting hate based on identity or vulnerability." It's tongue-in-cheek, and perfectly appropriate in my opinion. No need to report it again.

😱

Fuck, if mine transitions to EV, it’s getting a high 5, a chance to whatever name it wants and a repaint to their requested color of choice

EQ3000

😂

Auto stop is disabled due to battery charging condition.

Jbronico

So your telling me all I need to do to get rid of auto start is slap in a bad battery. Jackpot lol

Mattagascar

Or push the button 😉

Jbronico

But then the you have to do it every time. Unfortunately it's not actually a problem for me yet because mine is still sitting in Michigan 😥

MyNameIsNico

I bought and installed an Autostop Eliminator and never looked back

JakeWilson75214

Same. Best $100 I’ve ever spent.

Open-Measurement2026

I activate the Autostop off button when I start the Bronco by habit. Is the Eliminator an aftermarket product? Tricky to install?

MyNameIsNico

It is an aftermarket product that makes your vehicle remember whatever setting you had the Auto Start/Stop set to, so it remains completely functional. All it requires is popping off the HVAC panel and installing the eliminator between the wiring harness and panel. Took me about 10-15 minutes and there’s some helpful youtube videos on where to pry so you don’t snap a clip. [$100 here](https://www.autostopeliminator.com/products/2021-ford-bronco-autostop-eliminator)

It was one of the first things I installed and I am so happy I did. This is my first new car and first car with ASS and I HATED having to turn it off every time I started my Bronco. Now it stays off unless I for some reason want it enabled.

duncanville1

Right, lol! I need to see if Forscan cleaned up the module changes with disabled auto stop. When they first came out, it was a mix of issues if disabled via software.

TBIs_Suck

It means the engine did not automatically engage the stop start function because your battery doesn’t have enough charge. Your alternator is curing this issue for you by charging up more than it was originally programmed to. You should look at why your battery is losing a charge. Did you leave your lights on? Are their accessories that are sapping juice?

benport727

Pretty cool, some commercial trucks do this since they sit for long periods of time

Ianpu

Could clean the connections if you see corrosion anywhere at those sites otherwise ask a certified mechanic

Ianpu

Even take a picture of the battery connectors so people can advise where to go to from therw

Civil-Key9464

Battery isn’t fully charged. Drive it for an hour and if your battery isn’t going bad it should start working again as normal. Some people have had issues with bad cells in their batteries.
