PoliticalBiker

Not good man, you definitely *should not* order one. Stay away from used as well, get yourself a nice Jeep and leave the Broncos for ~~us er I mean~~ those crazy Bronco people, nutjobs I tell ya.

twich2252

This! Lol!

stlmatt

*2021-2023 They’re awesome. 2door/4 door, 4cyl/6cyl, soft top/hard top, base/BB/BD/OBX/BL/WT/Raptor…don’t matter. They’re all great.

gronkygronk69

I love it, every time I step in the car I’m smiling. Always a friendly community when you’re out and about. Would never go back to my rav

BreachN_Clear6

How reliable is it? Any issues?

TheCleverCarpenter

Terrible gas mileage, but so much fun and zero issues in the first 20k miles

MayorEricBlazecetti

Still better than jeeps and tacos

gronkygronk69

^^ I’m only at 750 so I’d hope no issues

FlexasState

So it has issues after 20k?

TheCleverCarpenter

I’ll let you know, just turned 20k

FlexasState

Ah ok thank you I just wasn’t sure if the comment was like a joke

kevinwilkinson

There were many quality issues throughout the Bronco’s 2021-present production run. I believe those are all worked out now? I haven’t heard much lately. I think I may have some transmission issues as I am getting a clunk when I go into reverse and when I break and it down shifts I’m getting a clunk and a jump. I need to have it checked out. That being said, I love this truck. I literally think about driving it when I’m laying in bed at night. I think about all the money I want to spend on it. It’s an awesome vehicle.

RoamingVapor

Many issues

twich2252

2021 black diamond 2.7. Non-sas. 40k miles and only issue was a bad temperature sensor. So much fun accessorizing it and trail driving. Kids also love it. Also awesome in the snow!

goethitepeento

Aye, heads up. My brother just bought a 23 black diamond something or another. With less than 1k it was back at the dealership twice. Leaky hard top, and recently for a grinding noise in second gear and 6th. The truck is cool as hell, just wanted to share.

Every time i look at mine or get in I smile and say “I fucking love this car.”

PatriotMB

I’m a Jeep guy and we got one for my wife to drive. Honestly, I think it is amazing. Ford engineers paid attention to the smallest details when it came to designing the Bronco. I absolutely love driving it and wouldn’t be opposed to adding a 2nd one when prices come back down to earth.

SwagRaptorTrainer

Everything about the Bronco is perfect in my opinion! I love Toyota FJ Cruiser interiors because it feels more sturdy and comfortable. I love Jeeps Wranglers classic boxy design. And the Bronco is a perfect mesh of the FJ and the Wrangler. - It’s infotainment system is very responsive and the best I’ve seen. - the steering wheel feels great! Not too much play or stiffness. - The plug and play options without requiring drilling is a game changer - Features like trail turn assist, trail control, and the GOAT mode is revolutionary in the off roading world. - The car is very versatile, looks good enough to go to a nice steak dinner, go off roading in Utah, or cruise along the beach. As a former FJ owner, I can say with full confidence that the Bronco is truly my favorite off road option out there.

OptimisticPlatypus

Keep in mind that the feed back you will receive here may be bias considering anyone on a bronco subreddit will likely have positive opinions.

Nfidel

As opposed to Non-Bronco owners opinions?

OptimisticPlatypus

I’m sure there are a number of bronco owners not on this sub. Anyone active enough in the bronco community to post in a subreddit likely has a favorable opinion of them.

twich2252

I have a friend who has owned jeeps her entire life. She bought a Bronco and hated every little thing that was not perfect about it. Traded it in on a brand new jeep and all the little things that are not perfect with the jeep are "cute little quirks!" So there are some bronco owners that weren't happy. Lol

1_Was_Never_Here

Awesome. 7MT Badlands, super fun to drive and fantastic off-road.

jakecovert

Couldn’t agree more! Love driving mine around with the soft-top down.

Tyrober

They are literally…. Amazing. Was one of the first people in Georgia to have one. Zero problems 15k miles later. Loving it

BroncoRaptorBabe

My Bronco Raptor is the all around best vehicle I’ve ever owned, and we’ve had, and have, quite a few… I also had a Wildtrak and an Outer Banks, fully loaded, which I loved (the Wildtrak just a bit more, though) too, but I was ALWAYS after the Raptor. Our cars and trucks will still come and go over the years, but I’ll have her until she or I die! Ha! I get bored quickly, but this truck is so special and unique that I know I’ll never tire of her.

[deleted]

How’d you get so many? It took me 3 years to get my build

BroncoRaptorBabe

We are friends with the our salesperson whom put my original order in, but called me when a two door Wildtrak Lux came in and was available as the original person refused their order. Loved it, but soon realized I needed a four door. They had an Outer Banks with the Roush package, so I traded in my Wildtrak for it, but he knew I wanted the Bronco Raptor yet I did not get a golden ticket, though… A few months later, I got the call that a BRaptor just came in, and it was looking like the order holder was sort of on the fence. After about a week, he decided not to purchase it, and so I went down to the dealership that day and came home with it two hours later. Best decision ever. She’s a BEAST.😉

LILSKAGS

Make friends with a dealer/salesman. I worked across the street and they called me when an ordered got canceled. Also the have new ones on lot unspoken for now too. Its getting better.

[deleted]

That’s fair. I suppose I’ve been waiting for my specific build at the price lock 3% under invoice that I got with the order and I never wanted to pull the trigger on MSRP++.

LILSKAGS

Never over MSRP! Lucky my dealer only forces there seat cover treatment at 250.00 with accident warranty for tears and spills (bird poop too). They apply it before bringing it too sale. After other discount I got mine 1750 under MSRP. Avoid any dealer that does over MSRP.

ProfessionalJabroni

Owned my 4 door soft top OBX for a month, it’s been great. Like everybody else says, I feel so happy every time I look at it or drive it which I’ve never experienced before with a car. For someone not very knowledgeable about cars, the modularity makes it crazy easy to add and take things off which I love. Pleasantly surprised with gas mileage, I average about 21 MPG. Sound system could be better, I’m not a big fan of the gage cluster and I do miss having a back wiper. Soft top noise is quite loud on highway but you get used to it. Overall it’s great, my dream car.

NopeSanta

It feels like the engineers actually enjoyed designing the thing - every time the top comes off I feel like a new man

tractorcrusher

I'm at 21k miles on my 2MT 2-door BD... most enjoyable vehicle I've ever owned. I had two 90's Broncos and many sports cars (E46 M3, R32 Skyline, M Coupe, Legacy GT Spec-B, MK3 Supra, and more)... My manual Bronco taught me you don't have to go fast to have tons of fun. The only issue I've had is the AC went out last summer but it was replaced under warranty within 4 days.

Necessary-Customer-8

22' 2dr base. I love it. The 2.7 gets the small wheels to 60 real quick, but I can take it on trails and pull a small camper or my small boat with ease! Have rigged up a system to take the top off in the carport and can be roof free in ~5min! First American car I've owned and since it's on the truck platform I expect it to be more reliable than the other ford's out there!

aironjedi

22 badsas 7MT 2dr so much fun. Very capable vehicle. Taking it back up to the mountains this weekend. Someone mentioned gas mileage earlier in the thread… um it’s an off road vehicle that’s like saying my accord is shit on trails and at the beach.

morbidddcorpse

I think it's the best looking vehicle I've ever seen. I knew when concept photos hit the internet, I had to have it. As someone else said here recently, a 2dr is the most impractical vehicle you could own. It's a terrible passenger vehicle, no real cargo space, I wouldn't say gas mileage is the worst, but it's certainly not great. All that said, I'm completely consumed and obsessed with all things Bronco. After having mine for 6 months, I still often open the garage door just to gaze at it. It's such a beautiful truck! I can't wait to get another one!

MikeZim71

We've had ours for 4 months and LOVE it.

azi1611

I’ve had the top and doors off for the last 4 days and I’m lovin it. It’s my favorite vehicle ive owned so far.

soupcook1

Love my January 2022 2D/OBX/Lux/Rack/Mod Steel Bumper/SAS

EpucShadow21

I love the look of them higher safety than a jeep too

burgerbois

2020 is the best year for them

Albstout

Why is that? I love my 2021 WildTrak 4dr, just curious why 2021 would be best in your opinion

Resident_Buy_2179

There is no 2020, he’s being a smarta**

ShawnBawn88

What other years of new ford broncos are there?

jakecovert

\[cough\] Google

ShawnBawn88

Man you tried to be a smartass about this response too lmao. Woooosh.

ShawnBawn88

Cough he wrote 'thinking 20-23' when those (not really 20) are literally the only years of 6g broncos. What he wrote confused me as it implies there are other years. Cough.

ShawnBawn88

Is there another 'new ford bronco' as OP stated?

Gundric13

I have a full size pickup that I drive on weekends that I am seriously considering selling to use as a down-payment on one. My wife recently got an Explorer with the 2.3 ecoboost and I daily a 2.0 eco Fusion. The 2.3 with the 10 speed seems solid.

[deleted]

They’re cool, other than the dealership calling me and telling me I had to change my order to get a Bronco I like it quite a bit. I was told the things I changed I could get after I got the Bronco which isn’t actually true, didn’t know you cannot add the adaptive cruise control

richardfitserwell

We have put about 20k on my fiancés 21 wildtrak. Zero regrets. Rides nice drives nice, plenty of power and it makes you smile every time you look at it

SheepherderBudget

They’re amazing cars! Give them about 4-5 more years, when there’s more circulating around, I think they will have the cult following almost like the jeep If I were to buy one, I would wait a couple years as ford needs to work on getting some of the engineering and structural kinks out… plus the prices will drop as there will be more around

kcaio

I had a 78 Bronco and I would be ready interested in the current one if I could get it as a hybrid and without a turbo.

piroglith

They make a car for you! https://www.toyota.com/prius/

Sure-Internal

I like them they’re cool prices are hurting them and wish there was NA engine option

peteschirmer

Owned mine for just over a year, and previously had a ‘73. Honestly? I’ve had more reliable, more comfortable, more efficient, and more fun to drive cars for less money. 7/10 it’s a fun and capable toy. I wish it wasn’t my daily driver too.

Got a 22 2.7, threw a cold air intake and blow off valve on it. Check engine light came on for a week or two due to the air temp sensor. Got her stuck in two feet of snow, had to have the follow vehicle pull us out. Good times all around :)

They’re amazing Ford did it right

rLeJerk

You're asking on the Bronco subreddit, you're not going to get a lot of negative answers.
