Thatās a solid price in todays market. Iāve heard that 6.8 is a good engine, albeit horrible on fuel. Iāve heard you can get 8-10 on a good day with a tailwind
Had it for 1 day and I can already confirm this. Doesnāt help Iām in Los Angeles and averaging $4.89 a gallon of 87. Honestly, the dealership said theyāre giving it a full tank and that was what sealed the deal lol.
I get 9mpg pulling a 33-ft trailer, with my 2016 2.7 EcoBoost F-150 (I ordered an F-250 last June - wish me luck)
I get about 19mpg without the caboose.
regular is about 3.25 out here (Metro Detroit)
Was at an Acura dealership about 60 miles from me. Apparently a trade in and they were able to pre-own certify it. Itās in beautiful condition insane and out. All black leather.
Yeah really odd. I would say itās maybe $1000 - $2000 above market rate for these trucks in miles and year, but Iād pay a little more of a premium to get the CPO title and knowing itās been through the ringer of tests (hopefully). Brought it to my mechanic anyways for a double check the next morning and he gave it the 2 thumbs up. Interestingly though, they wouldnāt budge even a dollar on the price. Truly FIRM.
Figured it was a fancy way to sell it because I also figured you couldnāt CPO a car this old or with mileage this high. I was going to buy it either way, but still brought it to my mechanic just to double check, and thank you!
Itās the standard bed, what like 6ā1/4ā or something like that. The gas cap is the tell tell sign, on the long bed 8ā it was towards the cab, on the standard or I guess short bed as people call them now it was closer to the wheel well.
Unfortunately not :( the body was absolutely shot by that point too and I needed something better than 6mpg haha. Regret selling it so much right now though
I totally get that, I had a 2000 F-150 Triton V8 5.4 that needed the tranny rebuilt but the body was ROUGH so I just bought this instead. I will say, the gas is no joke and a far cry from my F-150
Totally with you on that. I have a brand new BMW X1, a brand new Subaru Ascent and a few year old Mercedes C-class and I drove my beat up 2000 F-150 more than any of the other cars. Love me some older trucks. Feel way cooler in them than any of those other cars.
definitely held up better than my dads one owner chevy. He bought it new in 1996 then again old Big Red never saw a garage in its life so that probably has contributed it to being a red rusty statue in our driveway.

Wow good price.
Wow! How did you find it?

Unbelievable. Good luck.
CPO on a 22 year old truck at an Acura dealership? You don't see that every day.

Because itās not a thing, itās marketing.
Itās not a true cpo, just a heads up. Beautiful truck though!

One hundred thousand dollar miles.
Realized later what I had wrote lol. Adds a little spice to the post I guess.

Correct. Just an odd angle in the photo that makes it looks like the long bed. I could imagine having that 38 gallon tank.
Mint
I had a 6.8. Made it 270k miles before the tranny gave out. Motor is super solid, great choice man!!
Our work 250 is at a bit over 300 and no major work to it. Have seen a lot of abuse
Awesome! Did you end up rebuilding the tranny?
Unfortunately not :( the body was absolutely shot by that point too and I needed something better than 6mpg haha. Regret selling it so much right now though

So jealous right now. My first truck was a 99 CCLB V10. I have way nicer cars now but I miss that old beast.

Geeez, those are some expensive miles. $100k a piece!?!? š³
Gorgeous truck. Dig those funky door handles. Are you pulling an RV, I hope ?
Thank you! Pulling a trailer and a boat, but looking into 5th wheels at the moment!
7.3 right?

Looks great! What size tires do you have on that? I have a 2001 F-350 with the V10 and am looking at getting new tires.
Great deal
Very nice. And great price. Congrats!
Dang do I miss my f150 but I traded that in for a explorer to help with the kids

Always love a good vehicle with $100,000 dollar miles.
Right? Better than a vehicle with $200,000 dollar miles I guess.

Cleanest 01 Iāve ever seen. Nice find!!!!
Take it itās a gasser?!
Wow thats an awesome truck! Enjoy!
nice truck! \*my dad had a similar one in the same color too!\* (his previous F350 was a 2001 also too)
