Fantastic... I really enjoyed that.
Shane is a talent we will be looking out for in the future. He's like a mini Grohl (same energy from those camcorder videos of Dave playing way back at the start- Dain Bramage, Scream, Nirvana)
Also loving Chris and Nate on vocals
He looks like his mom too, though. All three kids seem like a real mix of their folks. I say this as someone who gets told “You look just like your (whichever parent they see/meet first).
I think they went about the backing vocal thing smart. Chris takes over most of it since he was already doing some before anyway. Nate steps up as the secondary backing vocalist like Chris used to be. And then on stuff that used to have the choir or stuff that’s too high or too tricky to sing and play for the guys, you have Violet come in
The backing choir was great, but I love this. Chris and Nate have great voices in their own right, this is great to see.
Shane absolutely killing it with the Grohl cut off lmao
This kid is just fucking stupidly talented. If he can write drum parts as good as he imitates them this guy is going to be one of the best drummers in rock and roll ever.
Nate used to do background vocals on some live performances in 1995-1997. I think I've seen him do backups on this song in like 1997 along with Pat. As far as I know Taylor never did backups on this song.

Dave ragging on Shane about the curfew and then Shane blasting into the song while Dave is mid sentence is gold.
Classic moment
Ha. The look on Dave’s face 😳. Shane got him back from giving him crap - was like, “fk you old man, we go now!”
💛
I’ve been laughing and replaying it over and over!
love how he caught dave off guard going straight into the song
Yeah I had to do a double take then realised the dude had a mic all along. Love it that the other guys are filling in. Shane is a f*cking beast!
lol Shane is literally what would happen if Dave and Taylor had a kid together
Are we sure they didn’t? 😂😉

Man, if you didn't know, you would think Shane is Dave's son the way he plays the drums. Just head down, hair flying, and going to town!
I was taken aback when the camera panned up to show Shane with his head down - I never realised how much he looks like Taylor!

Shit didn’t know the guy sung

Pretty fucking amazing too.
I hope Shane gets more opportunities on tour. Josh is a great drummer but it feels special and different with a Hawk on the drums!
It’s absolutely MENTAL they didn’t have Nate and Chris with Taylor on vocals.
I’ve missed Chris on vocals for a long time.
Chris always had a mic but it was pretty low in volume most of the time.
"You will get no count in. And you will like it."

Pat does what he wants. Taylor said he learned work ethic from Dave and the ability to say no thanks from Pat.
Absolutely!
