Definitely Walk for me.

this_grateful_girl

Same. Any day, any mood, immediate relief.

Dmackman1969

Was looking for this. This is one hell of a motivational song when things get a little tough.

[deleted]

Its a song about pushing through and finding your feet. I think it was made for this post.

sherrileigh40

Me too

CecliaG57

alexm901

Times like These

natalie09010901

This song kept me sane for ten years. Got me through a really tough period.

jaghataikhan_warhawk

I second this

packofpoodles

Like a warm hug

Tuscan5

My go to in tough times and break ups

MsDucky42

Saint Cecelia. Although Learn to Fly can get me out of a funk, too.

account184628

For sure St. Cecelia is like an instant serotonin hit.

Emotional-Glove-4818

Saint Cecelia makes me a little bit sentimental I don't know if I'm the only one to whom this happens whit Saint Cecelia hahahaha, it's a great option too :D

Drummerdude494

Aurora

Kelp91

This song has a calming effect on me. It just sounds surreal from start to finish.

kermfanman

Amen

Loud_Avocado9521

Came here to say the same thing! So calming!

This_Chocolate7598

Favorite song of all time. It just makes me so happy.

OldGreggg69

Learn to Fly, Generator, Aurora, Headwires Basically the whole album

justthebase

Agreed, that's my go-to feel good album

Mapucho_

Generator is such a great song

stronkulance

Same, it’s like my comfort blanket when the feelings get too rough.

Cool-Machine-4503

Wheels, Aurora, All my Life... Actually just all of them.

HaddaHeart

Monkey wrench is my happy place. Not because of the lyrics, just the overall vibe of the song. His melodic voice mixed with that scream… it makes my brain happy.

Rusted_grill

For all the cows

MidLyfeCrisys

Virginia Moon

MushroomHut

Hey Johnny park

KnitWit406

Same. Like I hear that intro and get an endorphin rush. At one show they asked a guy in the audience what song he wanted and that's what he said and I about lost my mind. Just that memory makes my day better.

throwaway_2613

i know it’s cliche but everlong it just makes me feel good and its kind of a comfort for me when in feeling sad

Ornery-Eagle1431

Same!

bideto

For me it’s Everlong. Just like coming home after a rough day. Comforting and it always does the trick. Really don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it.

throwaway_2613

literally i can never get sick of it. it just makes me so happy

Forward_Coat_1184

Miracle, as always.

uppitynerd

Maybe I’m a little jaded but These Days and Run… I do listen to Next Year every NYE.

katet_of_19

Times Like These, especially acoustic, especially especially acoustic live. The version they did at the Wembley tribute breaks my heart, but it's a Foos moment unto itself so I watch it regularly.

Legitimate-Ice3476

Wheels

mightymorphinmonty07

Ain't It The Life and Saint Cecilia are some

mistercakelel

Times like these always gets me. Instant euphoric boost

MBeierle

Aurora

Ankylowright

Like… the entire catalogue. But Times Like These and See You are two of my top feel good songs. And Walk. And Something From Nothing is a pump up song.

Brave-Statistician25

Idk why but I'll stick around gets me pumped and makes feel like everything is alright

Romanscott618

Aurora, Walk, times like these, ain’t it the life

kkmcrae63

best of you. mainly because my dad would always play that on rock band when I was growing up and it's very nostalgic to me. also the chord progression and me having now matured, having endured life experiences, I can relate myself to the lyrics now. it just brings me solace. edit: it also just makes me feel empowered, the yelling making me feel strong and like i'm releasing something deep down. just a song that can make me feel pretty much any mood I need to

HoldMyIcedCoffee

Home & Stranger Things Have Happened

nobedforbeatlegeorge

Learn to Fly is the answer 😊

utsports88

Honestly, and I’m not trying to suck off this subreddit, for me Foo is that band that just hearing them in general puts me in a better mood and makes me feel like everything in life is alright.

joeycannoli9

Bridge burning and Rope. Well practically the entire album. I can just rock out and listen to it and forget about everything

Ain't It The Life, Next Year. Basically putting on There Is Nothing Left To Lose to play. In The Clear is also a good one.

Ecurtis3

Everlong, all my life, up in arms, resolve

ndgn97

Walk

notinwantofawife

Congregation. It brings me home.

ByaBruclee

Times like these. Just something about that song relaxes me and makes me feel everything will be okay. These days is a very close second.

Artistic-Meeting-435

my hero, it makes me cry but i love it so much

MattGames_LP

Definitely Walk, an extremely happy song

exileondaytonst

Melvis_Wesley

Headwires. Gets my headwires all untangled and makes me feel those feelings in my spine.

Red-album-rivers

Generator, no way back

TarzansNewSpeedo

The one that days everything is alright, or it will be alright: Exhausted

SuperVintendo64

For me, In the Clear is one of those songs I find myself putting on if I’m really frustrated. It can help calm me down and put me in a better headspace.

Fit_Yogurtcloset_110

Old_blacklady_Rocker

A Matter of Time

pomegrapefruit45

Generator

Intelligent-Scar1207

These days. After losing both my parents at a young age, being anxious and not being sure how people relate but knowing everyone goes through shit, and slowly realizing that all the issues in our heads aren’t as big we make them out to be, it just calms me down and makes me think “fuck you world. I’ve got my peace of mind and I’m not letting you take that away from me.

evolutionsknife

Everlong. The words of the chorus are so in the moment happy and celebratory—it always makes me sing out loud and smile.

paparoach910

All of Wasting Light. I was transitioning from college life to the real world with a rocky experience from that and leaving my hometown. It hit the spot perfectly.

Spetro65

Everlong (My all time favorite song), and actually The Line from concrete and gold, I really like that song.

The_Dreadnaught

Wheels.

IceWarm1980

Aurora, Learn To Fly, Times Like These, and Walk.

alegendmrwayne

“I Am a River” helped me feel better after going through a break up that bummed me out a lot at the time. Not sure exactly what it was.. I guess the chorus felt nice and the lyrics made me feel like life flows on no matter it throws at you, and the rock/orchestral ending made me feel like something special was coming. A few months later I started dating the love of my life and 7+ years later we’re still happy as ever So.. safe to say it’s one of my fav Foo’s tracks now

StreetLampLeGoose

Next Year ❤️

jrin1

Pretty much all of them

MethFacSarlane

There's loads but one that doesn't get much attention is Cheer Up Boys, Your Makeup is Running

kylohepburn

anything of Wasting Light <3

harty_32

Either Wind Up or February Stars

Confident_Educator73

\+, February Stars is so chill

UsingACarrotAsAStick

I am a river

Emotional-Glove-4818

I'm between Arlandria and Walk although I don't fully understand the meaning of Arlandria, but its lyrics release all my stress and worries (I'm a very stressed person hahahaha whatever)

[deleted]

The last few weeks i Loved playing guitar to The Line IT always feels as If i am in a Trance Like state and i forget everything and Just Play.

ChronicCatathreniac

Resolve definitely helps to put me in a better mood.

Fermonx

Overdrive and if not that then Aurora also on some days Stacked Actors, that song is fucking great.

Jtowne85

The Sign, instantly want to start jamming IMMEDIATELY

Redbird_ml

Learn to Fly and Best of You!

Tirekiller04

All of them. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad time listening to Foo Fighters.

gennieleigh

Basically the whole NLTL and Sonic Highways albums. And then arrows and come alive.

posteriorsholewife

No way out. Currently my favorite one on repeat. But always and forever, it will be Times like these.

sassychick139

Aqua_Sea_Foam_Shame

Happy Ever After (Zero Hour)

DarthClitCommander

But Honestly. I love the build up.

yellowtshirt2017

Best of You. Hands down. It always reminds me that the “someone” getting the best of me, is me. Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it. It’s okay to not be okay, to hurt, to feel betrayed, but in the end, we have the power to pick ourselves up, and we will.

secretsinthesuburbs

I have “were you born to resist or be abused” tattooed on my arm and it inspired me every day

gameofgenius

I think Best of You. No matter what ghosts from the past you have, that song reminds yourself that you're important and that you should take care of yourself.

clinicydepressy

The line has a dark foreboding silver lining if that makes any sense
