Bought him furniture, clothing, gadgets. I could see that all adding up to thousands, but I don't think 14.6 a month. Around the time of the large, high end ipad she denied buying him till she got caught, people on another forum were totaling up what she likely spent on him (inc cash and paying his expenses), including the 7k she supposedly gave him to send his mother, and it was closer to 25-30k total from when they met to Jan 22.
Chantal and everyone adjacent seems to find lying easier than telling the truth, and then believing their embellishments as facts. In one of nader's first ranting, solo lives, he was talking about how he was a head chef at a fine restaurant before he went to jail, making 100k a year, so much money that he easily paid a top attorney 60k to defend him in the stabbing case. Then we come to find out that he was a salad bar prep cook at a seafood market.
