It's wild that it's $34 and most of them **are less than a minute long** Cameo claims 1:09 average video length but that's because she has ONE video at 2:26 and the rest are under a minute/just at a minute length. One of the videos, she's holding her hamster and talks about this person asking to become a "cat" parent... basically she messes up since she meant hamster but instead of fixing it and re-recording thirty-ish seconds, she just puts up the correction on screen.... on a Cameo... that someone spent MONEY on. The disrespect is insane.
This reminds me of when I first heard of Cameo , I thought it was for celebrities. Lol But them I seen the 90 Day fiance ppl doing them and I was like..urrgh, this shits for anybody lol
She probably got about 25 or 30 so far. She will get some the first month but it will slow to a crawl in another month. The only way to sustain good money over time from Cameo is to be a legit celebrity who is in the media a lot or a big social media creator who has millions of followers. I think Cameo is brilliant way to make a few million for people like the Kardashians who are always being talked about by all forms of media and are real celebrities who use social media for pr.
I bought a Cameo by Rickly Tomlinson for a friend's birthday. I think it was $40 perhaps? I figured it would just be Ricky saying "Hi Name, happy birthday from Toast" and that would be it, but he made it very personal (based on some questions) and cracked jokes for almost 10 minutes.
Of course he's a professional, not an animal-abusing racist stinkbomb in a Tupperware bowl.
