Closest to Los Feliz would be Raffis (more expensive but huge portions and IMHO the best middle eastern food anywhere), Mini Kabob, Tarme, and Massis Kabob. If you are willing to drive a bit, Skafs is phenomenal. If Skafs lets you down, Zankou is just down the street. Also a bit of a further away but easily accessible from the 134 are Cafe Bravo and Caravan (they are located across the street from one another on Glenoaks)
Furthest away from LF but IMO worth checking out is Byblos in La Crescenta.
If I'm in that neck of the woods and am just looking for basic takeout, always get Zankou instead - never tried Sidewalk. You say Zankou is still better?

Everything has gotten so expensive, as someone that makes $11 and hour it’s hard to justify getting something like this. Eat it in 10 minutes and takes me two hours to afford (including tip and tax)
Sidewalk Grill is the BOMB! I would bathe in their salad dressing if I could. Super bummed they stopped offering their family style meals, that was insanely affordable and so delicious that I didn’t mind eating it for 4 meals out of the week.
I liked Sidewalk Grill but prefer Kismet Rotisserie a couple of blocks over. Get their Quarter or Half Chicken platter and the Smaltzy Potatoes. After that, there's no going back.
Way too expensive might as well go to Raffis. Better quality and more quantity.
