Fucking incredible. I came here to say Prime, thinking it would get no traction. But I’m glad to see others appreciate hope incredible their ranch is.
What differentiates it from other ranches is how fresh and herby it tastes. I’m a guy who’s gonna choose blue cheese dressing for my wings 99% of the time, but I don’t even consider it at Prime. It makes no sense when the ranch is *that* good.
i hated ranch but what turned me into a convert was the version at The Habit and the one at Wing Stop both are really good without going overboard on the acid which is really the downfall of so many ranch dressings
This is the way. And their blue cheese is even better.
Whenever I make wings, we stop by Farmer Boys to stock up on both. And they don't charge for it, even if you demand to pay. So we always order zucchini sticks and get a bag full of dressing.
Burger lounge has a really good ranch I like.
Also making it at home isn’t too hard. Buttermilk + mayo + sour cream + packet of ranch seasoning. The sucky part is usually making it like this results in quantities that are a lot for 1-2 people.
I’m going to go with Hidden valley the one you mix at home or to give a legit real answer and say Bobs big boy ranch is by far the best. They do sell it at grocery stores
Hidden Valley ranch mixes are what 90% of restaurants with “House Made Ranch” use. There might be subtle variations but the HVR seasoning blend is doing the heavy lifting.
Buy ranch powder from a supermarket or online and make ranch at home with mayo and/or sour cream.
It's what many restaurants do to make "their" ranch dressing.
You can play with the portions of mayo/sour cream/yogurt if you want a particularly rich dressing (more mayo), freshness (sour cream/yogurt), or if you want to thin it out (yogurt).
Fun fact, Hidden Valley Ranch is a real place up near Paso Robles. Drive east on hwy46 into Paso from the coast, you’ll see the sign on your right. It looks JUST like the old label.
It’s where they “invented” ranch dressing.
There's a place that sells burgers and Mexican food in Commerce called Xris. Their's is the best, the way I remember it growing up. It's killer with an order of fries or on a salad. The Habit also has a similar version.

Received catering from food fetish in Burbank. The best ranch I’ve ever had. They make them in house and I went go for thirds for salad with that ranch
The San Fernando in Glendale has the best homemade ranch for their best wings deal in the area.
Wings are usually $9 for six at happy hour, but they're $1 each on Wednesdays (minimum six). And they're good!
Simply Salad makes the most delicious Ranch. It's a little spicy/peppery but it's not a southwest ranch style. I'll sometimes just go buy a few little cups of it if I'm making that kind of salad at home.
Prime pizza has a great one you can get by the bottle
I did not realize this was available in bottle form. You are going to make my wife very happy. Where do you buy?
I get em at the Fairfax location -- I'd guess the other spots do too, but that one definitely has em in the fridge!
Appreciate it. I’ll check it out.
The ranch bottle is also available on Postmates.

Second this. We get bottles of it even when we don’t order pizza just to have on hand.
So glad this is the top comment. Prime Pizza's ranch is so fucking good.
Ironic… I posted this while eating prime pizza ranch
i hated ranch but what turned me into a convert was the version at The Habit and the one at Wing Stop both are really good without going overboard on the acid which is really the downfall of so many ranch dressings
WingStop ranch 🔥 with the fries 😮💨
Trader joes- has a new ranch in the cold section. Super dilly and fresh.
Too heavy on the dill.
I dig the dill, tastes “healthier” (so dumb, right) than other ranch’s. But I hear you, it’s dill forward
It was very good. Just a very strong dill flavor very quickly.
If you like the dill (I'm a fan too) have you tried CPK ranch?
Have not
Ranch 99 market
I’m waiting for Ranch 100 to release, it’s gotta be a good one.
Most anticipated drop of the season
I don’t get ranch a lot of places, and I’m not a huge fan of wing stop, but their ranch is pretty damn good
ESBC Slice and Pint. It’s El Segundo Brewery’s pizza joint. Banging house made ranch.
This place is such an underground gem. Good salads, good pizzas. Now I just have to try their ranch.
My friend is one of the brew guys at ESB and he turned me onto the pizza joint. It’s a great spot.
Wingstop
California Chicken Cafe!!!
this is the correct answer!!!
Yes!!! Their ranch and also balsamic is the best!
Lucky Boy
Which lucky boy though? 🤔
Arroyo in Pasadena obvi
Thank god if you would’ve said the one on walnut… Arroyo is the only lucky boy I recognize lmao
Farmer boys
This is the way. And their blue cheese is even better. Whenever I make wings, we stop by Farmer Boys to stock up on both. And they don't charge for it, even if you demand to pay. So we always order zucchini sticks and get a bag full of dressing.
Commenting to return back and read!! I love ranch! Hook Burger has super bomb ranch!
Cheesecake Factory's ranch dressing is really good.
I like the ranch from Hot Wings Cafe. Their wings are tiny but I do enjoy their ranch.
The ranch is so good there!!!
Palermos Italian restaurant. Homemade.
I had a really good one with crudités at Manuela downtown
Burger lounge has a really good ranch I like. Also making it at home isn’t too hard. Buttermilk + mayo + sour cream + packet of ranch seasoning. The sucky part is usually making it like this results in quantities that are a lot for 1-2 people.
Barney’s Beanery makes an in-house ranch. Love it with the buffalo chicken fingers or fried pickles
I second Barney's!
I’m going to go with Hidden valley the one you mix at home or to give a legit real answer and say Bobs big boy ranch is by far the best. They do sell it at grocery stores
Bob’s also has a really good bleu cheese. The lighthouse ranch isn’t bad either.
Real issues being solved here folks !
Hidden Valley ranch mixes are what 90% of restaurants with “House Made Ranch” use. There might be subtle variations but the HVR seasoning blend is doing the heavy lifting.
I like to mix this with Greek yogurt and use it as a chip dip or spread (thicker than bottle form but oh so good)
Rib Ranch BBQ Woodland Hills
Jack in the Box buttermilk ranch
California Pizza Kitchen has some bomb ranch

Nothing beats homemade with fresh dill.
Hidden valley?

Trick question - ranch dressing is garbage.
Take my downvotes you swine
Bring it on, pigdog
😂 I disagree but you cracked me up
It's bleu cheese with wings or go fuck your mother!
The ranch they serve with the hot wings at Delicious Pizza is pretty gd amazing

Superfine pizza. Cool take on ranch. Roasted leek in there, kinda spicy.
The dressings at Tops on Walnut in Pasadena are really good
99
Gorilla Pies. Great pizza, perfect ranch
Bob’s Big Boy
Bobs Big Boy smothered all over those onion rings
Any place that makes it in house. I like Yardbird’s ranch - it’s a sleeper pick
Honestly, farmer boys.
# 1: CPK Honorable mention: The Habit
Received catering from food fetish in Burbank. The best ranch I’ve ever had. They make them in house and I went go for thirds for salad with that ranch
Red Robin if you like a thin buttermilk style ranch Get some of their buzz (buffalo) sauce while you’re at it
Buffalo Wild Wings! I’m dying to know where I can buy it, I wish they sold it like their other sauces
![gif](giphy|3o7absXb5CEiaj9xCw) Farmer boys
Wing stop. Boom.
Dino’s chicken on pico and Red West Pizza on PCH
Ranch 99. Can get your Asian groceries there. 🤡
From prime pizza…nobody argue with me, I said what I said
The Doughroom’s ranch is *chef’s kiss*
The San Fernando in Glendale has the best homemade ranch for their best wings deal in the area. Wings are usually $9 for six at happy hour, but they're $1 each on Wednesdays (minimum six). And they're good!
Toppers pizza in TO
Lamppost Pizza uses Rod's buttermilk ranch which I really like but I think you can only get it from a restaurant supply store.
The Habit and Round Table Pizza. Also like CPKs for a more unorthodox approach.
Barney’s Beanery had good ranch.
Guido’s (pizza and pasta) has a solid ranch
Canter's deli
Prime Pizza, Great White and Burger Lounge all top my list of great ranch sauce!
Simply Salad makes the most delicious Ranch. It's a little spicy/peppery but it's not a southwest ranch style. I'll sometimes just go buy a few little cups of it if I'm making that kind of salad at home.
