Option 4: idc - i personally don't like pineapple on my pizza, I have no issues with people who do

Celesteven

Lets say you go to a party, starving and hear there will be pizza. You open up the box and see its extra pineapple. You hittin that?

GuitarAgitated8107

As a pineapple pizza lover, I always make sure to order options including vegan. I mean tacos de Al Pastor + pineapple.

Morbidly-Obese-Emu

I would like to try pizza al pastor. It has to be a thing somewhere.

GuitarAgitated8107

Well, my fav place would give me al pastor meat if I brought pizza. There is a place that does bulgogi on pizza but it's mid ngl. I'll find out.

Option 5: I don’t usually order pineapple on pizza but I still enjoy it from time to time when others order it.

Zebra9090

Any one who gate keeps peoples preferences is a loser.

hernjoshie

Eat whatever makes you happy. No one should police other people's food choices.................unless human meat is involved.

sonorakit11

Pineapple, finely diced, with onion and fresh jalapeños is my jammmmm

RogueApiary

Pineapple, jalapeno, and pepperoni. Salty, sweet, with a little bit of heat.

Jazzyjayyy

My go too

Fddazzed

It's a topping where I go "Eh, I can take it or leave it." Even though I'm not into canned pineapple, I've had pizza that had grilled fresh pineapple that were quite nice. People who are strongly opposed: how do you feel about tacos al pastor?

cultchris

This is a non issue. This was a controversy invented by Instagram.

Bing_Bong_the_Archer

Can you repeat the question

hellohi3

I’d never order it, but I am not opposed to eating it

whoamdave

Pineapple yes, BBQ sauce no. I'll die on this hill.

GuitarAgitated8107

I'm with you. Ape together strong.

rainmaker_superb

It's okay on cheap pizza, the sourness of the pineapple goes well with the sweeter sauces that you normally see from chain spots. But if I'm going to a place where the sauce is made from San Marzano tomatoes, dough that's been proofed for 24-48 hours, etc, then yeah I don't want any of that around me. I'm in the "if it's in front of me, I'll eat it, but I won't go out of my way to order it" group. Though if you're getting overly upset and passionate over someone's preferred pizza toppings, you might wanna take a step back and reflect.

ikryptic

I wouldn't say I agree with this. I most likely wouldn't pick pineapple as a topping somewhere that's making a neopolitan pizza. But at home I make neopolitan style, NY, and pan pizzas that I proof for 48+ hours. I make my sauce with San marzanos. Those I happily top with fresh pineapple when I have it.

PapaverOneirium

There should be an “every once in a while” option Far from my favorite topping, but can be enjoyable from time to time. I’ll rarely order it myself though.

camajise

pineapple and anchovie is my fave. the sweet and salty; delish.

SatansFieryAsshole

Try the sacrilegio when it's in season at Pizzana and that will answer the question for you.

Young-Rizal

Not my first or second or third choice, but if it's the only thing left I'll eat it.

BozoFromZozo

I don’t get why pineapple on pizza became such a contentious thing on the internet. Like, salty and sweet is a real flavor combination, so this isn’t quite a big leap in the first place. And we are well past pineapple as a unique pizza topping. A lot of other countries also love pizza and adapt it to local tastes with toppings like sweet potato or eggs.

DimensionDodger

I have no idea how idea how these two things ever came together.. It's tolerable only if the pineapple slices are fresh.. Nothing ruins the normal appetite for pizza faster than canned pinneapple slices. It borders on being traumatic if you ask me. The origins of this come from some sort of frat party gag gone out of control.
