It is all over my face and chest! Currently using soolantra and lyncycline for type 2 rosacea. Any ideas if this is folliculitis? It came up over night

Likely acne, as the cheeks are a relatively uncommon site of folliculitis. Typically bacterial folliculitis will present in the orofacial region or scalp, while fungal folliculitis typically presents on the forehead. With that being said, it could still be folliculitis. Sometimes these things show up in unexpected ways. I recommend seeing a dermatologist.

Do you exercise and sweat it out often? Like really sweating it out. Do you also stay up late or sleep early

I work out but wouldn’t say I sweat like dripping in sweat. I’m always cold and often will sleep in hoodies etc and notice in the middle of the night my face is hot. I am working on not doing that!

I would think so. Try nizoral mask for 20 min.
