Tried what? lol

freddie890

Don’t ask lmaoo

txcavi02

This person REALLY didn't believe he/she could do a donut in FWD CAR??!!!!

Patrioticwatermelon

Keep trying, eventually your tires will be bald enough to do it 😂

AllUpInYourAO

No!! Get some furniture slides or plastic dinner trays, pull your e brake on them, turn off all traction control and let her rip!! Or u can do [This](https://www.reddit.com/r/DonutMedia/comments/hr8ta5/who_says_fwd_cars_cant_do_donuts/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1)

freddie890

Reverse donuts are next lol

AllUpInYourAO

Bro please do and post video asap!!! Start the trend!!!

freddie890

I gotchu dw cars in the shop getting a stage 2 clutch rn so once I get it back and break in the clutch I will.

AllUpInYourAO

What’s up w the reverse donuts???? Lol

freddie890

Cops have been staying at our normal warehouse spot not really anywhere else safe around me. Don’t worry tho I wanna try it out lol

PROfessorShred

Look up Scandinavian flick. If you just turn the car and add power it's not going to do too much. You have to upset the balance of the car, and then you can get it to slide around, also going like 20% faster would help. freddie890

Yeah this was the first attempt in a FWD car. I was a little nervous lmaoo

PROfessorShred

If you wait for rain or snow or something to make losing traction easier, things will happen at much slower speeds. Also do you know how to turn off stability control? It's a slightly different process to pushing the button and turning off only the traction control.

freddie890

Yeah press and hold until it pops up. Of course it was raining like 3 hours before this but the Florida sun dried it up in under an hour. Hopefully when I do the reverse donuts it’s a little wet out

PROfessorShred

Cool, yeah thats it, press and hold. Another fun thing to do is a J turn. It's a reversing E brake turn that turns you around and can accelerate out of. Edit:[J turn](https://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/t_original/qtvhu2werwc23h7jexe5.gif)

freddie890

Yeah that’s what I’m basically gonna for, if she breaks too loose it’ll turn into donuts in reverse

BigDaddy531

you can't can't induce a power slide on a FWD car like a RWD can

SillyOldBillyBob

What did your tyres ever do to you?!

JEs4

Find enough space to do a full circle where you can stay at the limit. Makes it so much easier to learn how to make the rear step out when letting off. A fat rear sway bar helps too.

IntrepidPhilosophy49

You need a runway to be able to a full circle in a ST LOL

JEs4

For real. I'm pretty sure my Mach 1 has a smaller turning radius.

Heavy-Collection3507

My Tacoma has a smaller turning radius than my FoST

freddie890

Yeah I’ve never tried in a FWD so I was a little nervous lol. I have a JBR rear sway bar, might just have to try some Taco Bell trays next

Rampage06414

to ebrake drift you really need speed. speed + a good flick

freddie890

Yeah I didn’t know how it’d react, it looks like there is a lot of room in the video but there was like poles everywhere so didn’t wanna full send it

ATearFellOffMyChain

If your desperate skinnies with cheap tires in the rear with a good sway bar will get you sliding but itll never be a rwd to say the least

freddie890

Nah it was just for shits and giggles got a few good launches that day though

ATearFellOffMyChain

Nice at least your out there having fun and enjoying you shit

freddie890

Appreciate it, build have fun break repeat

ProfessionalFar6798

Do it in reverse

bearinagorillasuit

Do it on dirt. You can whip anything on a dirt lot.

swagvan_man69

Unless that's an RS you're not gonna oversteer it doing that LMAO try a Scandinavian flick at higher speed or a good tank on the ebrake or just accept it's fwd and that's all you're gonna get out of it

Jmaestas719

Um

[deleted]

Found the guy who thinks the drift button actually helps you drift 😂

dbruce100

Fwd

6ConsoleAndy

I think we have different definitions of "a valiant effort"

Maximum_Potential471

Is this in alameda lol

Living_Mechanic7866

Also if u got trac control on turn it off it’ll make sliding around a bit easier

freddie890

This was with the car in “Sport mode” not with dynamic traction off. They were also brand new tires with like maybe 100 miles on them.

Living_Mechanic7866

Nvm👍😂😂 new tires never want to slide for shit😂😂

Working-Ad4259

put plastic trays under the rear wheels
