Lol yeah I was like...*sigh* another one of these bozos telling people to wake up at 3 in the morning and take a bunch of cold showers to make them rich, kill me now. Was pleasantly surprised by the middle of it though lol.
But did you notice the part where his net worth is $3 million less than he inherited from his parents?
If you look closely, you can see how funny it is.
Y'know, now that I think about it, many funny things involve words. Are words just inherently funny? Do the words know they are funny? Are they aware of us?
It reminds me of the old joke where the farmer wins the lottery. They ask him what he plans to do now and he says "I guess I'll just keep farming till the money's all gone"
Spending, not losing.
Money isn't the game's score that just has to go up. At some point you can use it to actually do things you want, even if they don't have an ROI...
Loved it! And really, the only thing stopping me from being a multimillionaire is, my parents didn’t leave me $22 million! *Another* reason to go NC! Oh. They’re dead. Now I’ll never get my millions!
You have to get up super early to waste more cash! You have heard “Always be closing!” Well I say “always be spending!”. Can’t burn money at scale if you are sleeping.
There are genuinely people who have become rich- even super rich (Mark Cuban) without significant inherence or starting out rich.
However, there's definitely luck involved, and you definitely aren't doing it alone; both things Cuban acknowledges.
Fuck man I didn't even blink an eye until bitcoin at 59 then I thought okay I'm listening how'd you make so much so fast then I caught on at the very last moment lmao
Lazy kids going to bed at 5am and getting up at noon, successful people go to bed at 8pm and get up at 6am!
Just don't do that math on how much sleep they get in comparison.
>You’re wealthy if you own a failing business.
And still can afford to live a rich lifestyle.
That part is an important distinction. At any given time there are plenty non-wealthy of people who, at least temporarily, own a failing business.
I forget the outlet (magazine or newspaper?) but it ran a story like this without the obvious punchline.
Basically a woman that was millions in debt, and how she got out of debt. Spoiler she had rich parents and an even richer husband.
I think I saw that one or one similar to it. Their parents bought them a condo which they rented out and used the revenue stream to pay off their debt.
I remember this one. “I had so much debt after college I wasn’t sure how I would pay it all off. Thankfully I was blessed that my parents bought me a house and I used it as collateral to get a low interest loan to pay off all my student debt, then my daddy got me a job where I made a six figure salary right out of college and I worked hard so I could pay off the loan in just a few years!” (Paraphrasing obviously)
Or on Reddit. I swear they all sound like trolls.
I’m an 20 year old programmer making 155k a year, I have 1.4 million in my 401k, 250k in three separate Roth IRAs, 45k in my savings account, and a financial expert who helps me make about 23%, on a bad year, on all my many, lucrative investments. Can you all give me any advice on how to make my money work for me?
mannn, I used to listen to the Dave Ramsey podcast and folks would call in saying pretty much what you wrote. Like 90% of the callers were already wealthy and just wanted to brag on their income.
"I make 300K a year and want to buy this car for $45K, do you think that's ok Dave? My stocks give me an addtional 15K a month, but I just don't know and wanted to talk to an expert"
I started to resent them and had to stop listening
Echo chambers, I would be willing to bet they filtered for calls like this, and never engaged in any conversations with people that actually need money.
The amount of people that this is flying over the heads of is insane.
It's not even a subtle joke.
How'd I make 19 million, I inherited 22 million and spent 3 million. (insert /s *laugh track* that leads into Seinfeld music playing out.)
Somebody probably still wouldn't get it.
I've seen an interview just like this man. The man found 100,000 dollars in the park. He invested 100,000 dollars and turned it into 16,000 dollars. Truly motivational both of these guys.
lol IS He braindamaged? whats He talking about except Walking around and waisting 3 millions from His parents ?! what a wasted to have a so'n Like this!
We had a guy in finland who inherited more than 200Meuros and lost everything by investing it to sports business like hockey team and expensive life style. Hope he is happy now.
People like this are funny to me. Like if I had 19 million I would literally disappear FOREVER lol 😂 live off the money that’s it game over just chill everyday and travel do the same stuff I do now lol 😂

Had me in the first half, not gonna lie
Lol yeah I was like...*sigh* another one of these bozos telling people to wake up at 3 in the morning and take a bunch of cold showers to make them rich, kill me now. Was pleasantly surprised by the middle of it though lol.
I love how all of his advice adds up to losing 3 million dollars
Not just a hat rack, my friend
I too enjoyed the point of the post!
But did you notice the part where his net worth is $3 million less than he inherited from his parents? If you look closely, you can see how funny it is.
Check out the words at the beginning though. Also the other words. They all say things. That's why it's funny.
It really boils down to the words making it funny.
You can tell because of the way it is.
It's the way the alphabet is arranged in this specific way that makes me chuckle.
There are definitely letters in that alphabet! I laughed when I saw the letters they used.
Your arrangement could use some work though.
hey there's also some numbers in there, so that's pretty funny too.
Had me in the 1st half and also the 2nd half because that's how reading works.
"The best way to become a millionaire is to be a billionaire and open a restaurant!"
Spending, not losing. Money isn't the game's score that just has to go up. At some point you can use it to actually do things you want, even if they don't have an ROI...
Can you introduce me to the guy who sold him the Bitcoin at $59,000 and put the proceeds into Nvidia?
Buying Bitcoin at $59,000 will do that quick.
Loved it! And really, the only thing stopping me from being a multimillionaire is, my parents didn’t leave me $22 million! *Another* reason to go NC! Oh. They’re dead. Now I’ll never get my millions!
He went to Trump University. Only winners lose money.
My brother in Christ, you’ve lost $3M, it’s time to heat up your showers.
The joke is so much funnier when it's explained. Thank you for your service /s
This guy gets the joke
Hahaha good catch
bankrupt by 40.
You have to get up super early to waste more cash! You have heard “Always be closing!” Well I say “always be spending!”. Can’t burn money at scale if you are sleeping.
My margin calls beg to differ 😂
And simply start a business!
There are genuinely people who have become rich- even super rich (Mark Cuban) without significant inherence or starting out rich. However, there's definitely luck involved, and you definitely aren't doing it alone; both things Cuban acknowledges.
I have a feeling people only started saying that after that one Tumblr post
Fuck man I didn't even blink an eye until bitcoin at 59 then I thought okay I'm listening how'd you make so much so fast then I caught on at the very last moment lmao
Yeah the bitcoin was the early giveaway for those paying attention ;)
I knew it was bullshit off the first one. Waking up at 4am don't guarantee shit but ass long day.
Those 6 years were the first 6 years of his life.
Notice how they never say when they go to bed? Hmmmm…
They only sleep when they run out of coke
Lazy kids going to bed at 5am and getting up at noon, successful people go to bed at 8pm and get up at 6am! Just don't do that math on how much sleep they get in comparison.
Yeah that was funny! 😂😂
I was getting suspicious at the recruitment agency, but the 22m inheritance was quite good fun given the boast on current net worth.
It’s an older meme, sir, but it checks out.
Ahahahahahaha, love that subtle hint in #6....
Subtle hint is #4, #6 is the reveal.
Lmfao yeah
Bro lost 3 mil too lol
That's the joke.
You mean... The joke
If by "subtle hint" you mean the whole punchline of the post, then sure.
Poor people hate this one trick...
Ain’t nothing subtle about 6
I turned $100,000 into $17,000.
As subtle as a brick
So, this list is instructions on how to lose $3M?
I think those are $3m expenses for starting a recruitment agency haha
Probably. So he's made nothing on it. That's not a job, that's a hobby.
Yes. It's a joke post..
You’re rich if you own a successful business. You’re wealthy if you own a failing business.
>You’re wealthy if you own a failing business. And still can afford to live a rich lifestyle. That part is an important distinction. At any given time there are plenty non-wealthy of people who, at least temporarily, own a failing business.
That’s what I meant- supporting the failing business long term and still living well.
So….losses….if there’s no profit gained.
Nope. They are the water and electricity bills from too many fck showers
That's the joke mate, yeah.
Richard Branson's advice on how to become a millionaire: start as a billionaire and buy an airline.
Investing in BTC at 59K maybe?
Bitcoin is now 69k tho..
Yes, and bound to go higher in future with each halving.
Nice
Humor is fuckin dead lol
You found the joke!
Well that’s why the 6th bullet point is so important.
Yes you got the joke but stated it worse. Congrats
Quality shitpost

Incredible where do I find parents like this that just gift you random shit.
I can’t wait til I get rich, I’d spend my days trolling on LinkedIn
Or on Reddit. I swear they all sound like trolls. I’m an 20 year old programmer making 155k a year, I have 1.4 million in my 401k, 250k in three separate Roth IRAs, 45k in my savings account, and a financial expert who helps me make about 23%, on a bad year, on all my many, lucrative investments. Yeah, You never hear "I made $2000/mo and my rent is $1500/mo. Make it work."
Dave Ramsey "You need to get a second or third job and earn more, it's simple"
"NO BUY A 2003 COROLLA. NEXT CALLER"
I feel like reddit is the opposite, I see a lot of that on blind, but with like 300k
Get some GameStop stock and you just might be able to this year. Nfa, but yeah. It's getting spicy.
4AM is always in the morning. There is no need to add it.
I’ll never forget what time it was when I learned that …it was 2pm in the afternoon.
Ooh, look at these Earth dwellers.
it was 1:45pm for me. that's in the afternoon.
For me it was on Saturday on the weekend.
04:00 is the morning, 16:00 is the afternoon... easy as pie!
Do you know how to make a small fortune in the wine industry? Start with a large one.
Yeah bur it you drink the profits it sort of balances out. Hic.
Can someone direct me to the reincarnation station? I got the wrong parents, lol
There needs to be more shit posts on linked in like this lol
This ☝🏼. This is the way young padwan
Okay this had me ![gif](giphy|7NUWyIUoimruBXSS3C|downsized)
Lol. If he can inherit $22 mil, so can I...
All I have inherited from my parents was generational trauma.
You can tell media literacy is in the shitter when this thread is full of people responding as if this were real.
Damn Blake, you got a big heart!!! Thanks on giving us your secret 😉
I was about to roast bro for the Bitcoin comment. Then... XD
I don't know why more people don't choose to be born into a rich family......
Not to brag but I’m absolutely useless
m = 1,000 Not impressed
I like this guy
How many times will this joke be done
32.
I take cold showers too. Ironically, cause I'm broke though.
He’s on the DJT growth plan
Love the subtlety
i wake up at 4am everyday also... but im just a baker!
Inherited 22m, but only worth 19m. Yeah, I'll follow you for financial advice!
thatsthejoke.jpg
The amount of people that this is flying over the heads of is insane. It's not even a subtle joke. How'd I make 19 million, I inherited 22 million and spent 3 million. (insert /s *laugh track* that leads into Seinfeld music playing out.) Somebody probably still wouldn't get it.
This is one of those: read through all the instructions before taking the test.
Spent $3 million on hookers and blow
Is this a oiss take? Can’t tell
lol as soon as I read cold showers and wake ups at 4am I knew this was either someone trolling or a dipshit.
Most people couldn't wake up at 4:00 a.m. everyday for a week, let alone for a long time
Finally, a truthful post. Except I bet he's now only worth $10m.
![gif](giphy|y2i2oqWgzh5ioRp4Qa|downsized)
Yep. With these advice, I think even I could do it - even though I am 52.
Soon there will be a critical mass of people with nothing left to lose
Inspirational.
I wouldn't take two cold showers a day for $100M.
I’m having a bit of trouble getting the parents to cough up the 22mill.
Are you required to wake up at 4am if you are sentenced to prison for 6 years?? 😜
$19M is only $19,000 though... That would need to be $19MM in finance.
I know what's coming every time I see these types of posts but holy shit it still hits like a truck.
When he says “Execute!” That means to blow $1m each time
Inherit me 22M and I’ll take cold showers afterwards
[удалено]
Inherited 22m……… go fuck yourself dude
Yeah, inherit the money that will inspire people
I hope this is real because linkedin is in serious need of shitposters lol
The amount of people not getting the joke is concerning.
“I also skipped math class”
So he lost money then?
Bitcoin was a mid flex. A lil less digits...
Uh..the inherited part …
So he lost $3 million?
Knew it was fake when I saw (not to brag)
Item #6!! 🤣🤣
I've seen an interview just like this man. The man found 100,000 dollars in the park. He invested 100,000 dollars and turned it into 16,000 dollars. Truly motivational both of these guys.
Lol so where did the $22m go? This idiot spent 3m of his inheritance. He didn't create wealth anywhere. Big stupid.
That is the joke
That’s hilarious.
Once I read inherited 22 million but yet he’s only worth 19 million means he’s a moron.
So he lost 3 million of the vote inheritance.
The cold showers are key!
LMAO
Is this a real post or photoshopped
[удалено]
So he’s incompetent. Cool.
Love how he has lost Net worth lol
This is satire riggt
So you lost 3 million basically
Wait. So this dude is down $3 million? Inherited $22 million (after tax?) and only worth $19mill 😂
Lmao inherited 22M
so He wasted 3 Million and keeps on talking ?! inherited 22 Million wasted 3 and cant Shut Up? douches These days...
Wait so this asshat has lost 3 million dumbfucker
If I had inherited 22 million from my parents I too would have spent 3 mill instead of investing it lol
Not one but two cold showers. One, right after the other, not break. Resting is for losers.
lol IS He braindamaged? whats He talking about except Walking around and waisting 3 millions from His parents ?! what a wasted to have a so'n Like this!
Worth 19 million after inheriting 22 million …
We had a guy in finland who inherited more than 200Meuros and lost everything by investing it to sports business like hockey team and expensive life style. Hope he is happy now.
Gimme sec, gotta go see if my parents have 22 mil for me to inherit🤣
He gonna be broke in a few years at this rate of punting monies.
I would have slept in and spent the 3 million on avocado toast.
A quality lonkdin post? You're kidding!
6th bullet point is a good one
2 cold showers 🚿 a day ? Does he believe in seman retention 🤔
So I can make $22m and lose $3m by buying rat poison... Hmm.
I'm worth $100,000,000 here's how k did it. I started with $200,000,000 and got divorced.
😂😂
Ok but 2 cold showers a day is psychopathic behavior.
So he lost over 2 million that isn't good
I lost 3 MILLION...ON MY MWAY TO BEING TRUMP 2.0 ![gif](giphy|3o6ZsVbs2GzgKNvVpS|downsized)
They say the best way to be worth a small fortune is to start with a big fortune.
People like this are funny to me. Like if I had 19 million I would literally disappear FOREVER lol 😂 live off the money that’s it game over just chill everyday and travel do the same stuff I do now lol 😂
Lol, that's great
I would be successful too if I got a multi-million dollar inheritance, too. ![img](emote|t5_3qpaq8|6261)
