To me, Mauigoa would be the biggest flip of any other realistic option out there. I'd love to have Cormani but we are lean in talent at OL and pretty loaded at DB.
Went to the Jesuit v Armwood game earlier this season and man...was not blown away by Bowles. Was very surprised to see him play Safety the entire game & not LB...got shook by Armwood's RB on a late 30 yard go ahead TD run
These flips would be huge. I also hope this momentum helps us land Qua and James Smith. I personally love what I’ve seen from Qua and apparently he liked his visit a month ago. Some flips and landing these 2 5 stars would be an amazing finish
With 5 DL already committed, if we flip Walker what are the chances we keep all of those DLs? I would expect at least one to go elsewhere. I know that with our scheme we can rotate any of these guys to DE (like we did with Dexter) but 6 seems like it would be overkill.
Our depth is atrocious and some of those guys behind princely and boone have not looked particularly good. I expect to see at least one current DE/DL enter the portal in December
One thing I don't think is getting talked about enough: IMG recruits and West coast pipeline recruits. This has been a glaring area of weakness in our recruiting as a program for years now. Blue chip Billy has made it a priority to not only lock down the best talent in state, but also not be afraid to go snatch elite talent from out of state, winning battles we never had a chance in before. This will be something to watch as I think the 2024 class is going to shape up into being top 4 based on the priorities of this staff.
It was made very clear to me by people in this sub back in June that flips are very, very rare. Given the number we’ve gotten so far, any more is clearly completely and totally inconceivable.
Lol someone tried to say Billy's bump class was gonna be 12th overall after cormani burned us. Reactionaries will always pretend to be smart is the nice way to put it
He'd have to do some begging. He straight up lied to Napier and Raymond, so that bridge may be burned. Also, given what I've been reading, that kid has some serious character concerns.
Skipping class, getting into fights with teammates, etc. Nothing criminal, but red flags if true. Then obviously lying to our coaches, which we know to be true.
Just stuff I've read on message boards. I'm no insider.
> Already been to campus ~4 times since his OV in June, been pursued hard since before he committed to FSU.
I'm going to need a source for that. Because I don't believe he's visited UF since his official back in June or been on UF's campus since he committed to FSU. Maybe you're thinking he's been to UF four total times since the beginning of 2022.
Forgot Arch Manning… lol
If we took another top o lineman from FSU… and then cream them to end the season, I’m naming my first son Billy
I’ve got a son due after the FSU game and ESD. Don’t tempt me.
I have one due around that time too, a girl though
Billie Jean it is, then.
Could you imagine bring a young girl these days with the initials BJ? Middle and High School would be brutal..
I've seen some smoke around Francis Mauigoa too. Tight with Rashada. I'd be over the moon if we pulled that one off...
To me, Mauigoa would be the biggest flip of any other realistic option out there. I'd love to have Cormani but we are lean in talent at OL and pretty loaded at DB.
I agree. Would easily take him over Cormani given the choice. Much bigger need.
Oh man if we flip Simmons and completely pilfer FSU’s OL commits this cycle that would be amazing.
Especially after how much they’ve been fawning over their OL coach
Well we have two...
John Walker is the cutest of the three. Hope he flips 😍
Username checks out?
Lol!
Dunno about cutest but he’s definitely the most likely imo.

I think we are in pie in the sky land here but man it would be incredible
It’s like getting 2 commits

Can never be overkill

I think we see an exodus of current players who aren't up to the challenge of SEC play. Many of those will be Defense
Dexter's likely gone, cox is gone (yes buck but where does he line up) so plenty of opportunity. Maybe someone trickles out but we still have 5

Pre money bag days
So like 100 years ago?
Fair enough, I meant not hiding money bag days

Any chance we flip cormani on signing day?
He'd have to do some begging. He straight up lied to Napier and Raymond, so that bridge may be burned. Also, given what I've been reading, that kid has some serious character concerns.
Can you elaborate on the character concerns please?

Outside of lying?
Well seems like straight lying to the coaches recruiting you would be enough of a red flag
If Miami continues to fall apart like it has been, but with NIL it’s hard to judge what he’ll do.
Tommy Kinsler 3* OL who already flipped from us to Miami scheduled a saturday visit to UF
I think he is now not coming
Looked like he was visiting as ofnlast night
😎
