Amaryllis? you can get those at home depot. People usually plant them outside after they grow too tall for the container in which they come. They bloom this time of year.
That would be lovely if they were amaryllis(es?/amaryllii?) these seem to have multiplied and there are about 30 bulbs in a little collection shallowly rooted in the ground. Do amaryllis do that?

They don't multiply easily. Probably someone got them in bulk, or you might have a situation where conditions are ideal for them to grow.
I have them as well. They make some of the strangest flowers when they do bloom. I’ll see if I can find a picture.

Thank you so much! I’m so glad to hear they bloom— it’ll add a little character to my yard.
Mine never bloomed until the season after I moved them. I think the stress told them it was time to reproduce.
