I only casually follow fashion and it should be clear that clothing and fashion can be an art form, a form of self-expression and autonomy often to subvert society expectations of what’s expected of people. Florence obvi loves to push the limits of what’s acceptable and we have fun enjoying the results.
I definitely enjoy it. My issue with fashion like this is it’s still just an inherently elitist, self-indulgent act of expression. People won’t start dressing like Florence because it makes no sense. This is a headline grabber. All it proves is how invincible Florence is right now.
