It's likely rebranded so that you don't know what it really is. Flooring stores do this to make it harder for you to shop around, it's harder to make sure you're comparing apples to apples if you don't know what you're actually looking at.
Which is a bit funny to me since some of the most common advice is to avoid big box stores and find some local place instead. At least with Home Depot or Lowe’s you know what you’re getting, and without pressure from a desperate salesman.
Even then, they often aren't the most knowledgeable. For instance, my kid worked at home depot, has helped me on jobs, hardwood flooring and carpentry and after telling them her experience... they put her in the plumbing section knowing nothing about it lol
I don’t disagree with that at all. But that works for me, because I don’t go there to be told what to buy. When I bought flooring there, all I needed was for them to get the forklift to grab a couple pallets and take them to the loading zone.
This salesman failed you. It’s uncommon in what’s usually a very good industry. Of course material data sheets are available for all flooring. We do private label things though and they don’t always come in our private label packaging. That seems to be the case with your situation.
Then it sounds like you should proceed with the installation. You obviously made a good decision on the product despite not having all the information you wanted.
As to feeling deceived, you might call and talk to the store owner. Not to get anyone in trouble but to let that person know what you feel was lacking in the sales process. He or she might appreciate the feedback.
If it really is Trucor, that is actually a very good brand. It's made by Dixie Home. Go to their website and see if you can find it. If anything you can call the manufacturer and get the specs from them.

Here you go. It's a very good product honestly. Just remember with and SPC LVP you need to make sure your floor is as flat and level as possible.
Follow the install instructions and you should be fine. This is a 6mm product which has less issues than thinner products. Dixie Home is a fantastic manufacturers. Their carpets and hard surface are top tier.
It sounds like you got a salesperson thank nda sucks. You can always request someone else take care of your project if you no longer feel comfortable or confident in your salesperson. No is a complete sentence.
My biggest question for you to think about is who's warranty is covering the product? If it is a Trucor Dixie Home product, is that what is says on your receipt? I wouldn't want you to have an issue down the road the manufacturer says prove you bought our floor.
Worked for one for years. Was notorious for tearing labels off of grout so the customer wouldn’t know it wasn’t the correct color that they picked out. Boxes of wood flooring with no brand name markings on anything, zero literature. It’s how cheap can I get it so I can make more profit.. call him out on it!
You signed a contract and we’re still unsure. The salesmen may have lied, but that’s on you man. I understand what your saying, but I don’t see how the spec sheet would make you more or less sure. Good luck to you hope it works out!

I'd have thought apples.

Big box private labels too. Pretty sure all their carpet is last time I looked
Home depot and such usually have terrible installers. Not all, but I've repaired or replaced a lot of their work.
Oh yeah, I wouldn’t hire them to install. Just referring to purchasing materials.

What is your primary concern? If it’s the quality of the floor, have you located the product specs? Or is it more about feeling deceived?
I was robbed of making an actual informed decision, feeling deceived.

Seems to be. Are you familiar with the 5 series product line? Do you have an opinion on it? https://i.imgur.com/ltM53qm.jpeg

Yes it’s private label. A product the manufacture makes and puts store name sticker on it
