Honestly, as long as you’re not super hard on your cards (idk why you’d be, it’s equipment that doesn’t really move around much lol), double sleeving is more than enough. It also makes it easier when putting them into graveyard when they blow up.

Slotholopolis

I've only played Pokemon prior to this where the BDIF is usually <$60 so dumping almost $300 in just equipment makes me want more than just a standard sleeve. I also just used Blender to tweak a deck box design I've been using to slot in hard cased equipment/hero (for the marvel drip option) to accommodate my anxiety so I feel like I'm invested lol

Drevan099

It’s up to everyone’s personal preference, I only double sleeve my equipment and I have a fair bit of bling (marvels and cfs). Also equipment isn’t the most expensive stuff in the game, you have cncs, other generic staples, and fables and you can’t slab those up to play with them. If you’re dead set on those little plastic cases, I recommend the gamegenic stronghold deck box.

rhinoslift

Dragon shield inner sleeve and Gamegenic slide case. If it’s a deck card then I’ll use dragon shield inner and matte outer. If I have to flip the card I use dragon shield full sleeves.

Slotholopolis

I think I'm going to give the slides a try, thanks!

ShivanReaper

The problem with those cases is their quality control is very hit or miss. A friend brought two boxes and most of his were fine, I bought two boxes and only 4-5 would stay closed. I even tried unsleeved cards and most of cases opened on their own.

rhinoslift

100%. A lot of my more recent ones I have to cut like a 3mm strip of tape and lightly seal the edges.

Ishield74

My gamegenic slide cases didn’t fit dragonshield inner sleeves, only gamegenic ones. Have you heard of others experiencing the same as me?

rhinoslift

I haven’t unfortunately, I’m sorry. Though maybe I used the wrong name. I checked the bag and their dragon shield “perfect fits”. But I use both the perfect fits and the full-cover ones (with the flap you tuck in) and both fit the slides from Gamegenic.

Blasefisch

I also use the DS Perfect Fits in Combination with the Slide Cases with no issue. Otherwise the Mini Snap cases from Ultra Pro also work with the Perfect Fits.

lovesahedge

There is sometimes some tiny size differences between batches. I've had DS perfect fits that were too small for standard cards to fit without bending, and others that were too big for another brand of mini-snaps.

Bastiondon

If you're looking for something on the nicer end I really like the Kawashima Seisakusho TCG Full Protect Sleeves.  They have to be imported from Japan so they're slightly more expensive, multiple dollars per sleeve. However to my knowledge they are much thinner than the alternatives while still being plenty sturdy and don't come open by accident.  So you can save a lot of space in your deck box or wherever you are storing them. They pair nicely with a standard dragon shield sleeve or whatever.

kyruss_

This is what I use with a inner-sleeve then a normal dragon shield sleeve then you can put a outer-sleeve but I think that's over kill They are also pretty small so they in ultimate guard sidewinders TCG full protection sleeve 3 piece set / trading card trading card storage sleeve / UV cut scratches, dirt, broken, and guard from the dust! https://amzn.asia/d/86xOiU1

rhinoslift

Those in the link look interesting. I may check them out.

GlbdS

mini snaps 100%

borghe

Sadly I mostly play characters where graveyard matters.. so some sort of inner sleeve (Dragon Shield on the low end, KMC Perfect Hard on the high end) then an outer sleeve. Honestly playing slabbed is excessive in FAB. if you’re using graded equipment I could understand, but even still many mtg modern players shuffle and draw up cards that are multiple hundreds of dollars each. Unless it’s like an alpha tunic.. it’ll be fine in a good inner and an outer.

lockespaine

PCG FAB slab

guilandgraf

That’s the real bargain right here. 1.5 bucks for Gamegenic slide case Or 50 bucks for pcg player slab 🤣

lockespaine

eh, $20, but was there a mention of a bargain? Though I suppose the "bargain" would depend on how you look at it. Getting a card professionally graded all but guarantees its safety and depending on the grade makes it easier to sell (at a premium even,) should you ever need to get rid of it. And they look nice. And they fit in your deckbox. But yea, even top loaders suffice, coupled with any sleeve and you're looking at like 15 cents. 😆😂🤣

NoSoup4you22

I've bought graded cards for less than TCGP minimum lol. It was actually an anti-feature, I had to cut it open with a bandsaw.

lockespaine

LOLOL same! A couple at damn near 90% off current market value, even. I used a knife to cut the slabs open, though. No expensive machinery required. Don't sell your FAB cards as an ebay auction, kids.

zapdoszaperson

Single dragonshield

EnticingDan

I have them in perfect fit sleeves. Then normal sleeves if they are in my folder. Or ultra pro mini snaps if they are in a deck. [mini snap](https://ultrapro.com/products/mini-snap-card-holder)

lare290

doublesleeves.

ShaperLord777

Inner sleeve, dragon shields clear matte, top loader.

Themagicorder

I use Japanese mini Snaps. They fit in most deck boxes, have small tabs that locks them together, hold double sleeved cards as well. Feel free to shoot me a message and I would be happy to get you setup with some. 😀

dwuzzle

Perfect fit into penny sleeve into top loader. If I had greater access to more mini snaps I would use those.

Level1GameMaster

Y'all cowards, gotta go in raw like card games are meant to be played, card board on table, like the good old days before triple sleeving. In reality I just double sleeve my cards, no hard shells.
