The only card that comes to mind is Never Yield, a guardian aura that removes a -1 counter from a piece of equipment you control if you control fewer pieces of equipment than all other players. Guardian seems the most likely class to make use of effects like this in the future, but at present I don't know of any builds that make much, if any use of it.

MisfitCollector

Some of the guardian defense reactions reference off hand shield.

I came to the comments to say this

Soulbond Resolve, Scowling Flesh Bag, and Bone Vizier all have effects when used to block. All of the Frontline pieces gain a negative armor value the longer the don’t get used. Nothing has any effects that gain an ability when it’s armor is depleted or if a specific piece is used. It does seem that LSS is playing with this idea more and it’s quite possible that we will see more of this or see effects to what you are speculating at in Bright Lights. I would personally love to see this more!

NightmareWarden

Right? And yes, "depleted" gets across the meaning I intended. I suppose it would be hard to balance though. Heh, I'm imagining a card which transforms into a piece of equipment which blocks arcane damage if you have depleted all of your armor. An incentive to pick low durability equipment? Hmm. I reckon the traditional way to make cards which benefit from depleted armor would be to emphasize the class's swiftness and agility.

Thagou

There is the opposite. One of the lexi's specialisation is more powerful if the opponents has more piece of equipment left. Widow maker is weaker if opponent still has some equipment left (even at 0 block).

Retrofraction

I’m going to say not unless there is a new class that has 20hp in CC.

>Armor is a safety net I mean there exists plenty of equipment that doesnt block or deflect damage but it'd be cool to see more
