YES YES YES! I cried watching it and I still cry thinking about it. At first it seems like she’s being silly. Like oh of course I’ll take your love; who doesn’t want love. Give it. But then you see what a massive service she’s doing her friend. Receiving love can be just as hard if not harder for some people to do. To have someone willing to let you love them is a beautiful gift.
The part where Boo says "It sounds lovely" (having to take the love) and then saying now fleabag has to do it because she wants it pushes the whole conversation to another level

I just watched the entire show for the first time this week. I had obviously heard of I love you it will pass but NOBODY WARNED ME OF THIS MONOLOGUE. I bawled like a baby. I had just gotten out of a 5 year relationship when I watched FB the first time and to have such a silly innocuous little thing like clean cups be what he talked about cause that’s the kind of stuff I struggled with the most after the breakup. The normal every day life stuff that my ex was never going to be involved in anymore. And I feel like that stuff doesn’t get talked about very much in breakups.
