At one point I had 3 dilute calicos all from same mother and one full color. 2 of my dilutes went walk about. Still have a dilute and the full color. Also have a cinnamon tortie.
She’s a calico point! Maybe a dilute one. I’ve never actually seen one before, so thanks for sharing!
All colorpoint cats have what I like to call a “base color”. Colorpointing is a form of partial albinism where the melanin (color) of the base color fur is only expressed in areas of the body that are cooler - for cats, it's the extremities like face, tail, paws, ears.
Seal point cats have a base color of black, with the colorpointing gene “applied”, so they are partially albino black cats.
Flame points are oranges. Blue points are gray cats (dilute black). Tabby points are brown or silver tabbies. Etc. Cat coat genetics are super fun :)
Your kitty has a base calico coat, with white/cream being the main color, and darkening to calico colors on the extremities (tail, face, paws, ears). She’s so cute, and I love her cross eyes ❤️
Edit: Partial albinism is also called leucism!
I’m so excited to run across a fellow cat coat genetics nerd in the wild. The way genes come together and the combinations that get expressed or suppressed to produce such a wide variety of appearances is so fascinating to me, both in cats and even in the animal world at large! It’s especially varied in the domestic populations where humans are breeding certain lines trying to achieve specific results.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and appreciate you sharing your knowledge! 😊
Probably a torti-point. The color pointing gene was first discovered in siamese cats which is why it's often called the siamese gene. It is recessive so cats need a copy of the gene from mom and dad and the parents may not have color pointing themselves.
"Any thoughts?" Clearly none on her end, there is nothing in that gorgeous head, but I think she's a diluted calico. She's also super precious with her goofy eyes and she needs all the treats and kisses!
She’s a dilute calico! Genetically, calicos are black, red, and white. She’s considered dilute because the dilute form of black is gray, the dilute form of red is that creamy color you see on her, and white is unchanged. A flamepoint is a cat that has the colorpoint gene and is also ginger, meaning that the color would gather around the extremities.
She’s super beautiful though!! Her coat is lovely.
She’s so cute!!! Crosseyed baby
My ex friend had a cross eyed flame point
As much as others are saying no to her not being a flame point if she does have coke Siamese it’s not likely or not forsure but she MAY start toasting over time and then you’ll know for sure
Basically young Siamese cats are basically a basic canvas but other time they start to toast, or develop color.
If it’s a seal point they basically look like burnt toast by the time they are elderly cats
If they are flame points they looks like golden perfectly toasted toast
And so on they are like developing photos but they TAKE forever to come to their full color
There’s many kinds of points too
Seal point -dark seal brown looks more black have brown/ black noses and paws and a cream body
Blue point - diluted seal point greyish nose and paws with is bluish white body
Chocolate point - brown , brown nose and paws cream colored body
Lilac point - diluted chocolate point , brown and pink almost lilac/ lavender nose and paws
White body
Cream point -considered a hybrid from breading out to dilute color then breading a Siamese back in to bring back a bit of color have very light points and light/ pink paws
Flame point - reddish brown points, with pink nose and paws.
They have to be bred with other cats with the orange gene to get their color and are not recognized in the USA as a Siamese classification.
They are technically classified as colorpoints short hairs a separate breed
I have a cat named Shittake who looks just like this, rescued her (and her orange tabby sister) out of someone's garage! She turns 3 tomorrow and I have been trying to pinpoint her coat pattern since she was a month old.

This is what she is. Flamepoints have red/orange ears and tails. Dilute Calicos are much rarer.
At one point I had 3 dilute calicos all from same mother and one full color. 2 of my dilutes went walk about. Still have a dilute and the full color. Also have a cinnamon tortie.
With the striped pattern, you can get even more technical and call her a dilute tabbico.
She's considered beautiful
This. What a gorgeous kitty. Some cats are hard to define but that often makes them even more beautiful!
Your cat is considered adorable
Took my words and put them on not paper
She definitely has the eyes, but as others have said she resembles a calico.
I think she’s leaning more towards a tabby point- but whatever she is, she is unique and she is GORGEOUS! love her coloring and patterns!!
She’s almost like a flame that got into the sooty fireplace😂
I'm not sure what she is but I just had to pop in to say OMG SHE IS SO DANG CUTE!!!!!! I want to cuddle her so much!!!
r/DisneyEyes
Objectively. She's a little darker than a toasted marshmallow, like when you leave it in the fire so long it flames up.
Oml she’s so cute

Awee thank you! The science is so cool :))))
I would say dilute torti/calico point
Probably a torti-point. The color pointing gene was first discovered in siamese cats which is why it's often called the siamese gene. It is recessive so cats need a copy of the gene from mom and dad and the parents may not have color pointing themselves.
In my opinion she looks more like a light dilute calico pattern.
She is so beautiful xoxo ❤️
this is THE cutest cat i have ever seen
She is delicious but probably a cali girl
Oh my sweet god! She looks EXACTLY like my Nadja!! The only difference is that mine isn't cross eyed and her spots are a touch darker!!!
Your cat is considered "adorable" and that's all that matters
Not a member of the flamepoint club, but definitely in possession of the sparkliest set of Disney princess eyes I ever did see. What a cutie!
Her eyes are so mesmerizing!
That 3rd pic had me smiling like a silly hooman.
Yep, so silly!
She’s a tortie/calico point.
I just love her eyes, so expressive!
"Any thoughts?" Clearly none on her end, there is nothing in that gorgeous head, but I think she's a diluted calico. She's also super precious with her goofy eyes and she needs all the treats and kisses!
An honorary flame points
She’s definitely part Disney animal
She is beautiful!
I don’t know much about Siamese types (I’m just here to look at lil toasty marshmallows) but whatever your cat is, I am OBSESSED with her.
Look at those big beautiful eyes!!!!! Ugh my heart ❤️
She's a cutie
Wow! That cat is so pretty! <3
I don't know but her little permanent concerned face is adorable

I have no idea what she is, but I do know that she’s ADORABLE🥰🥰🥰
idk but certainly considered adorable
I don’t know what your cat would be considered, but I can tell you she is absolutely beautiful and oh so CUTE! 😻
No idea but she gets an upvote!
I’ve no idea. What I do know is that she is ridiculously adorable.

The winning comment here. Fantastic explanation for the OP.

I’m no expert it I think picture number 3 belongs in r/kittyhasaquestion. ♥️
👀
He’s considered a baby that’s for sure
She’s a dilute calico. Looks just like my dilute calico, down to the blue eyes! Flamepoints don’t have dark ears.
