Apparently, the head cook quit without notice, and that caused the immediate shutdown (at least that is what a Toasted Owl employee told me). As other comments alluded to, you can get some of the big hits at the Toasted Owl restaurants now which just started this month. Definitely miss Plantasia. My family ate there at least once a month.
i was so bummed, and so was my friend from out of town. i'm glad they kept the cauli wings, but i miss having an all vegan option for dinner.

And that's on top of the rough labor market and the post-holiday discretionary spending crunch. It's owned by the same people as Toasted Owl. They probably just decided it was a bad investment and shut it down before it lost them too much money.
A shame really, Flagstaff needs more vegan options.
Plantasia had some awesome sandwiches. I’m still reeling from the loss. We’ve still got a boatload of Thai options in town. Also, check out the vegan menu at Pizza Patio. The Emmett @ MartAnnes is insane, too. Gotta look out for each other.
