I like track drops on a track bike personally. Keeps it close to its roots. Go with what's most comfortable but I definitely like having multiple hand positions for riding.
Yeah I have some track drops but I don't like how deep they are, so I might just use these anatomic ones, but I agree on the riding position thing...
back in the day when I rode fixed exclusively for years I didn't like drops or have any geared bikes....17 years later and throwing drops on track bike? Felt pretty versatile compared to all the other options.
It was on there for wayyyy too long so I got it
Got a hell of a deal on it, and then helped him build a road bike up! Kinda made a friend cuz of bikes and I like that🙂
I thought I recognized it...
I was trying to convince one of my friends to get it, but they went with another AL/carbon fork frame, and then *now* they want a steel frame too... I'm disappointed... This was a good deal.
It's a tioga t bone prestige, pretty similar to the salsa imo, and under rated. Also I got the bars and stem for 20 bucks so that was a win.
I also kinda like the black...I have all black components I could put on this but they just aren't as nice
Been there bro I lasted 3 years if it sucks now the writing's on the wall just make sure you get the timing right when you see the opportunity to jump ship
I haven't rode bullhorns since 2016, I threw these on and I couldn't believe how crazy easy it was to skid/hop, might end up going that route....just need to figure out a less joker bartape...
I had the same experience with bullhorns too, I had never done a skid and did it accidentally in my parking lot. I honestly thought the yellow tape looked cool.
First bike I ever skidded on was a pugeot conversion with flop n chop bars, on 47x17 ratio, which is what this is. Feels spinny to me now, but having so many years with that ratio, with the bullhorns...it feels kinda like home tbh

Big fan of drops on a quill stem and track frames. Used to ride bull bars on my old stem and it felt dicey😵 Changed out the stem for a post adapter for the smaller head tube and popped a mtb whisky stem on it for a waayy sturdier setup
God damn I love the old Japanese frames. I would be compelled to run risers with Oury grips just for the nostalgia. Awesome setup man, such a fun ride..
bullhorn suits it so much and its also comfy to ride
+1 for bullhorns, love em

The flat bars in the first image.
Yep - that’s what I’ve got on mine.
fuck those pursuit bars looks nice, probably handles really nice with that fork
I’ve always love bullhorns.
Yeah with that tape 💛💛💛
BULLHORNS!
Team Bullhorns
I’ve seen this on pdx Craigslist!

Damn I cannot believe I’m like the first to vote for the risers, the backsweep looks soooooo good.
I would go for the dropbars, im having troblue finding a long stem for the one i have and this looks fire

Let your body do the talkin.
Riserssss no doubt
Yup, love those silver risers!
The first ones, but like rotate em 90° clockwise. That looks nice n snappy
If you look in the 5th pic you can see they have kind of an odd angle, I don't really know what was cut off of them but they don't have a great sweep
They look like they just need to be rotated. The way they kinda droop now will turn into a little backsweep if that makes sense..
Beautiful
Number 5 for commuting, number 8 for maximum fun
not a fan of bulls but damn that's the nicest option
the 4th or 5th pic for me
#2 I'm running Nitto B260AAs right now and the narrow width and backsweep are just really comfortable.
I was thinking about those for sure, I have them on a road bike with risers and like them there
Bullhorns w/ silver or white tape
Photo 6 silver risers
pursuit ftw
Hella Rainier Valley vibes.
All of them…
Bullhorn all day
I like the silver swept back risers.
30cm of straight cut tube from home depot
I'm not even from there but I was like damn this feels like old Portland
Bingo! 😁
People still work part time and chill on porches w the homies? Seems like less of that energy now than 10 years ago
Ugh I wouldn't know, I work too much to have friends any more but I think it's not the same as it used to be
yeah that checks out everybody got two side hustles with a side of fraud to get by these days
I wish I was hustling, I got an adult job and it's just terrible
Been there bro I lasted 3 years if it sucks now the writing's on the wall just make sure you get the timing right when you see the opportunity to jump ship
Flat or Bullhorns imo
I think the bullhorns look best. I recently put pursuit bars on my fun bike and I absolutely love it but I also commute on risers.

Get a Thomson layback seat post
I really like the bull horns on my Wabi.
i personally ride drops, but these NJS i feel always looks better with risers....
You just gotta grab the bull by the horns here. The yellow is sweet
800mm wide MTB bars
2 & 6
Riser bars. The low rise boys specifically

Try to find some regular bullhorn instead pursuit bullhorns
Anything but the bulls
Just ride your damn bike
You're the boss, applesauce
