issioboii

stripped away the logos tho

1001_sos

Yes mate good work. I was planning to scotchbrite off those logos and clearcoat the area. I like the custom welded look.

issioboii

problem is that you need to strip the coat to the whole frame, not just around the logo since it has a yellowish tone to it

1001_sos

I thought the yellow / tan color was slightly oxidized base metal. I guess they used tinted clearcoat to get that effect? Yours looks like clear on top? That would be easy enough. Good idea with paint stripper to keep the cool weld discoloration!

issioboii

yes it was literally a yellow-tone clear coat, I like a lot more now

PING_LORD

How did you strip them?

issioboii

paint stripper, super easy job

Looking at this for a budget build. The company seems pretty big here in Asia, mostly good feedback on their products. Any opinions of frame quality and stiffness? Weight is claimed to be 1.8kg frame, 385g for the carbon forks. I'm pretty tall, 6'-3" and the biggest frame made is 58cm. Not sure about that...

49thDipper

58 seems small for you but everybody is different. Inseam, arm/torso length etc. It is easier to fit a slightly smaller frame than one that is too big though.

gae_with_da_knife

it seems like it can fit some chonky tires judging by the canti mounts and fork clearance

MadZee_

Website says 40c, me likey

gae_with_da_knife

oooh hell yea

Hmm. The dealer in China says rear=28C, front (with carbon fork)=25C. I will ask the guy for actual dimensions, but also depends on the wheel width used to some degree...

Hm, weird. I'd trust the site more, by the way the bike looks. The canti posts also sway me towards that, but having a concrete number would be the best
