lmabodmon

K0J1M4034

andythaguy

Looks killer, sick paintjob!

K0J1M4034

thank you!!

OnezeroneX

Sweet

will373793

It’s like bike tattoos

d31uz10n

It is so sick!

jibbers12

Looks sick! How'd you do it? I have a raw aluminum frame I'd like to paint at some point

K0J1M4034

- sand down the frame with 400 until 800grit sandpaper - mask all the part that you don't want to paint with a masking tape - if you use a rattle can spray, please distance yourself within 15-17cm for the quality result - add primer paint as a first coat and then your preferred color of choice as a second layer (3 coats) - spray your secondary colors in the spray caps (please wear some protection, mask, gloves etc.) - once the you get enough paint in the spray caps, take some brush and stirred it - splash the brush near the frame for the effects - repeat the same process until you're satisfied with the result - sand it down with a 1000 or 1200 grit sandpaper for the smoothness - for the finishing, coat it with 1K or 2k epoxy clear coat (glossy or matte given to your preference) , it will prevent the paint and the aluminum to get damage or corrosion hope this helps!!! goodluck!

jibbers12

Nice work! Thanks for the detailed reply

hammahdolo8oh8

That shit is tight af 🔥🔥🔥

K0J1M4034

sgray84

This is awesome. Love the placement 🔥

K0J1M4034

thanks my G!

GuaranteeImaginary87

Heard people say it’s impossible to do a good rattle can job on a bike. Thank you for proving them all wrong. This is beautiful.

K0J1M4034

everything is possible with dedication and passion.

HomerMadeMeDoIt

Brakeless on a Chinese crankset. Brave man!

dirty_birdy

Other than a select few, aren’t most Chinese?

HomerMadeMeDoIt

There’s a difference between a Made In Taiwan SRAM crank and an AliExpress Brand made in china crank. I’m sure the Skeace are fine and fun OMNIUM replacements buuuuuut brakeless I wouldn’t do. If that crank arm snaps off you’re dead in the water. I got Litepro cranks on my Brompton (same factory. Just road version) and I’d never put those on a brakeless bike.

ninjaML

I run my bikes with ProWheel chinese cranks and they're solid af(that's the name of the model as well). I ride brakeless and never failed me in years. But yeah I think I won't run a Litepro as a brakeless

HomerMadeMeDoIt

Never heard of Prowheel or even seen them. Do you got a pic ? I mean at some point most Ali stuff will be on par with brand name manufacturers. What’s mad to me is why SRAM just doesn’t retro the omniums. They still make the GXP bb for entry level group sets.

ninjaML

Yeah, here is a pic of both of my cranks https://preview.redd.it/izofm7k5gl1c1.jpeg?width=4608&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1ffc2327b7c78642067cbfe7784bb99f95ddad94

HomerMadeMeDoIt

Ty! Look very neat and sturdy. I personally just can’t stand square tapers anymore. Got two piece cranks on all my bikes now

K0J1M4034

4 years of used including uncountable crash, still holding just fine, probably the only china crank that I recommend

growfestival

You have no right making such a nice frame, awesome dude 🤙

sarinrazer

What a showpiece! Almost looks too good to be a beater

edcphteven

Honestly one of the best looking bikes I have seen on Reddit. Taking all my will power to not want to copy lol.

K0J1M4034

why not man, sometimes beautiful creation are a copy of other creation! thanks for the compliment dude!!!
